1 rack of ribs, cut into sections

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

1 tsp BBQ seasoning

½ tsp Cajun seasoning (unsalted)

¼ tsp cayenne pepper

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp butter

1 tbsp oil

1 whole onion, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

4 cups beef broth

1 tsp beef bouillon (or 1 cube)

2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp Cajun seasoning

¼ tsp cayenne pepper

Salt & pepper to taste

4 tbsp BBQ sauce

Season ribs with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, BBQ seasoning, Cajun seasoning, cayenne, and Worcestershire sauce.

Massage everything in well and let marinate for about 4 hours.

Heat butter and oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear ribs for 5–7 minutes, turning until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, add onions and bell peppers. Cook until softened and slightly caramelized.

Season with onion powder, garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, cayenne, Worcestershire sauce salt, and pepper.

Pour in beef broth and add bouillon. Stir well.

Return ribs to the pan and spoon the liquid over them. Add BBQ sauce and mix into the broth.

Cover and cook for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until ribs are tender and the sauce has thickened slightly.

Cayenne adds a subtle heat that balances the sweetness of the BBQ sauce

The broth keeps everything juicy while breaking down the ribs

Searing builds flavor you can’t fake

Low and slow = tender every time

Over rice

With mashed potatoes

Or straight out the pan

Extra sauce always.
