People Need To Stop Trying To Draft Caitlin Clark For The Culture War

The Fake News Media USED to have control of what could or could not BECOME a cultural moment.

But the Fake News Media LOST that control some time ago; they just pretend that they haven’t.

That’s why the ESPN “sports” reporter tried to bait Sophie Cunningham into CANCELLING HERSELF a week ago during an interview for ESPN Magazine by asking her about trans athletes playing in girls sports.

See, the Fake News - even the ‘sports’ wing of it - has to PRETEND they still have this awesome ‘cancel culture’ power in their toolbox.

But they don’t have that power any more. That tool is no longer in their toolbox.

What that dumb ESPN ‘sports’ reporter thought she was handing Sophie Cunningham was a hand grenade that would destroy her, once the woke mind virus cancel culture exploded in Sophie’s hand.

And now?

Well...now...

Now the Fake News Media’s Sports Wing is watching in mounting horror as this narrative continues to run away from them.

The national conversation that was **supposed to** lead to the sudden disappearance and destruction of Sophie Cunningham has morphed into a Frankenstein’s Monster that they have no control of whatsoever.

Now, they’re TRYING to reassert control over the national conversation now.

But they’re failing at it.

Sophie is not only not GONE, she’s growing STRONGER.

80%+ of the public that doesn’t depend on the good graces of a woke-mind-virus-captured-institution to make their living are behind Sophie Cunningham right now.

This was not supposed to happen.

Events were not supposed to unfold in this manner.

They pulled the pin on a hand grenade and handed it to the designated victim of the latest cancel culture explosion...and she ate it with a smile and she’s still coming.

They don’t know what to do at this point.

They honestly don’t know.

Instead of becoming the instant national pariah and societal untouchable and cultural outcast they envisioned, the Woke Cult is watching Sophie still being Sophie, having more fun than ever as she literally grows into a LARGER NATIONAL ICON while kicking the living shit out of their trans ideology.

Sure, they’re doubling down right now in the WNBA league office. You’re going to watch speech codes be implemented for the players, as Caitlin Clark literally goaded them on this, saying the league must address it soon.

Take a wild guess on what the woke mind virus suits in the WNBA front office are gonna roll out in the coming days as they try to pin down the growing Sophie Giant in their midst, like a buncha frantic Lilliputians?

Speech codes for the players are coming, to try to put out this fire THEY STARTED THEMSELVES.

They’re gonna ORDER Sophie and others to STOP TALKING ABOUT THIS TRANS ISSUE.

Reporters who insist on asking about it will be locked out.

Players who insist on still discussing it will be subjected to sanctions.

Well let me rephrase those last 2 sentences:

Reporters who insist on asking about the trans issue THE WRONG WAY will be locked out and not granted press credentials.

Players who insist on still discussing the trans issue THE WRONG WAY will be subjected to speech codes and fines/sanctions if they violate the speech codes.

Nobody has any control of any of this. The WNBA will try to assert control and fail. Activists on both sides will try to assert control over this cultural moment and try to ‘steer’ and ‘guide’ it where they want it to go.

They will fail too.

Some activists on one side are even right now trying to force Caitlin Clark to ‘volunteer’ to be their cultural warrior in this moment, when Sophie already volunteered and is perfectly suited for that role. They are literally grabbing Caitlin and trying to put the culture warrior warpaint on her face and shove her out there to stand next to Sophie and take that heat with her.

Not everybody has the personality to handle the fire that comes with being a culture warrior at the tip of the spear in a cultural moment like this.

You were SHOWN over a series of weeks that Sophie Cunningham was MORE than ready to step into this role. She literally has been developing a ‘don’t give a fuck’ personality for the past decade.

Caitlin Clark may be a damn good basketball player, but when you DEMAND she step up next to Sophie and take that heat with her, you BETTER recognize you are trying to browbeat her into doing something she is ill-suited to do.

A person is either ready to step into the sudden fire of a cultural moment and be that warrior the country needs...or they are not.

Rally behind the cultural warrior who was ready for her moment to shine. Quit trying to grab someone else with a completely different personality, and slap the warpaint onto her face and shove her out there because YOU think that’s where she should be.

Caitlin Clark in her own laid back, reserved way is doing her part to open the door where the league office suddenly has that hand grenade the ESPN reporter gave to Sophie tossed into their laps.

They’re gonna be frantic to get that hand grenade out of their front office, and the response they will make - the only one the Woke Mind Virus will allow - will destroy them.
