I am very tired. This is nothing new. Let’s get some announcements out of the way before we march on, though:

This Friday is Sketchy Soiree at Adoration Studio! We’ll have three burlesque dancers modeling, and instead of the typical short to long pose format, we’re doing the opposite to reflect the structure of a burlesque striptease act. I’m super excited for it! It’s a ticketed event, seating is limited, and I have no clue how many folks will show up, but it’ll be a good time all the same, yeah?

Next Saturday, March 28th, is the grand opening of the Fern Ridge Co-op which I’ve joined. As part of the day-long festivities, I’ll be doing some live drawing or painting, hopefully with a model, encouraging others to join in on the fun.

And next month, April 18th is the Kingsport Arts Festival. It was fun last year until we got rained out, so fingers crossed that doesn’t happen again.

Last month’s Embodied Life Drawing workshop was another success, and we had so much fun. Except for when one model posed in such a way that her arm was extended directly toward me, hand in a difficult position. But other than that? A grand time! After Sketchy Soiree I’m not sure where I’ll land next, but the plan is to keep doing figure drawing events as I can throughout the area.

ETSUcon was a huge success as well, thanks for asking. Exhausting but so much fun, I always do well at it.

My final three pieces for Pouncepunk 2026

Pouncepunk this year was also a success! I think all eight pieces I created for it are pretty strong! Now I’m working mostly on commissions before I can well and truly get back to more personal work, which is a fine problem to have honestly.

Oh, over on Planet Nude, Asada & Mischa have reunited now that Asada is out of his cocoon, but a new threat looms. I also made a new banner and I’m quite proud of it:

I also reviewed the beautiful Estonian documentary Smoke Sauna Sisterhood. Please check it out, I’m quite proud of this one. Then go read Timothy Sargent’s new piece, Original sin. He left nudism and writing behind a few years ago, so to see him return in such strong form makes me so happy, and this new essay pulls no punches when discussing the ugly roots of American nudism.

I have only been to the gym twice this month. Boo. BUT a dear friend started teaching her adult ballet class again, and I’ve been going consistently. My schedule also opened up in a way that allows me to get to Jazz X as well, so I can keep moving. Also, I was uh, hastily promoted at my main day job right at the beginning of the month, cutting my HollerHouse time down to just a day a week, and the new role is more physically demanding too. All of this has made me miss Digimon for a whole month, and it’ll be a bit before I can finally make it back, but I will return eventually.

So…many things moving and shifting but I’m rolling with it so far. Struggling to think and plan ahead for other things, but there are ideas, rough drafts, other things floating around for me to get to as I have time and energy. At least I’m never bored.

That’s all for now. Take care!
