Renewal: Music and Poetry - Scarsdale Public Library

It's the second year that community poets are sponsoring a collaborative poetry and jazz event at the Scarsdale Library alongside the Adult Jazz Ensemble from Hoff-Barthelson Music School.

Reading and reception for poet Elaine Sexton to celebrate her newest collection, Site Specific, just published by Grid Books
Chappaqua Library - Wednesday, May 7, 7 pm
Elaine is a beloved mentor to many and a beautiful poet. At the end of readings Elaine will have copies of her book for sale. I will be there along with other local poets. More information here.
Nuestras Voces (Our Voices) - Celebrating Latin Culture in the United States - City Winery, New York City - Sunday, May 4, 1 pm
Writers Read, a literary forum, creates performing opportunities for writers that translate to rich, delightful events for guests. On May 4, they are hosting "Nuestras Voces" at City Winery. There will be 13 writers performing short, personal stories (5 minutes each). I am honored to be part of this cast of talented writers. Writers Read programs are lovingly curated by Ed McCann and his team, placing a strong emphasis on the craft of writing. If you are a writer, check out past events and themes of future events.
