Demons rely on deception. They can’t affect you without your consent. Their strongest weapons are fear, shame about things you’ve done in your past, and doubt about your abilities.

You must have strong faith in Jesus Christ to overcome them fully. You aren’t exempt from temptation, but you always can respond in favor of God’s way for you.

Meditation and emptiness are wrong because you “empty yourself,” and you’re left with a void. That creates space in your spirit to allow malicious forces to overtake you. You must remain in the Holy Spirit when you pray or meditate. That’s why Scripture reading is important, because you remain in the Word of God. Everything else leaves room for deception.

New Age is complete deception. It uses demonic powers to seduce you to obtain power, but that power is provided by Satan. You must rely on the grace of God; otherwise, you’re deciding to turn away from his help, grace, and ultimately presence. That’s not a place you want to be. It’s basically hell.

So many testimonies point towards these conclusions. The Bible talks about these types of deceptions. Jesus said to share the Gospel and drive out demons. Why both of those? Because demonic forces act against God’s true covenant with us. It’s a counter-Gospel, Anti-Christ, and absent from God’s love.

Christ reaching out to you will bring you to tears if you’ve been resisting, but the Spirit within you (that little fire) longs to be in union with Christ.

There is nothing more joyful than being in the presence of God’s love. It’s quiet, peaceful, and warm. It’s nothing like any achievement you can get. It’s not climactic at all. It’s steady, lasting, and calm. I think it’s how it feels to be with God when we believers pass on into heaven. I’m not sure. But I have faith that God will provide (Jehovah jireh).

Intense anger toward someone or something is demonic. The teachings of Christ show the truth and how we should be. All the negative thoughts that are persistent and chronic are a demonic influence.

Demonic influence starts with what seems like an innocent curiosity, but those acts can open doors to demonic possession. It’s tricky because demons attack any unresolved parts of your life. Like you could be resolved of your alcohol addiction, for example, but you still get triggered by your kids being too loud. You must invite Christ into ALL areas of your life. This is part of your sanctification. It’s not just a one-time event to proclaim Christ with your mouth. It’s not enough just to attend Church on Sunday. You must “pray without ceasing.” Keeping your eyes on Christ is important for all of us to maintain. Love the Lord your God with all your heart. Keep his commands. And love others as yourself.
