Today, we are diving into this BIG and important topic. 🌍📚

Working as a veterinary nurse can provide valuable clinical experience and help build professional connections that may be beneficial if you later pursue full veterinary registration in Australia. 🩺🐶

It's important to know that the requirements to work as a vet nurse can vary depending on the state or territory you live in. 📍🇦🇺

While veterinarians are highly qualified, some workplaces may ask for a vet nurse certificate. 📝

Veterinary nurses in Australia typically need to be registered or certified, depending on the state or territory. Check with the relevant veterinary board or association in the state where you plan to work. 🏢✅

For example, in Perth (Western Australia), you can’t work as a vet nurse without the Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, even if you are a fully qualified overseas veterinarian. 🌿🐨

In Sydney (NSW), it is not mandatory to hold a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing. However, some workplaces will ask for one and may not offer you a job if you don’t hold the certificate. 🏙️🐾

Let's listen to a voice note and make sure you grab a nice hot cup of tea! ☕🎧

Remember, every step you take brings you closer to your dream. Keep pushing forward, and soon you'll be making a difference in the lives of animals in Australia. 🐱💖🌟
