250!!!!

Dear Substack Reader, Happy 250th anniversary/birthday of the United States! I’m thrilled that I got to live through 1976 as well as 2026. What an honor God has bestowed upon me.

Because of my Declaration book, I’ve had a total—if humbling—blast on so many radio interviews and podcasts that I literally and actually have lost count of them.

I hope this doesn’t sound cocky or arrogant—as much as I love being the Tolkien and the Batman and the Progressive Rock guy, I’m totally thrilled to be regarded as an expert on the American founding. I never served in the military, and this feels like maybe, just maybe, I’ve given something back to this glorious republic. Again, I hope this doesn’t sound like bragging. If anything, I think it’s the opposite, and I find it quite humbling. Regardless, what a true honor.
