I’ve been love hungry as long as I can remember. Perhaps my insistent curiosity on the force of the heart was planted deep by some mysterious force from beyond or maybe by the growing disillusionment when I lost count of the number of parental dating relationships I watched come and go.
At age five, my favorite thing was to sing Hare Krishna to the God of Love.I felt an insatiable devotion toward love itself. At some point, though, I began wondering how this devotion translated into my human relationships. Was it even real? How did it relate to my crushing on the only boys taller than me walking down my carpeted high school halls? How did my friend’s parents stay married? Love became my life’s devotion.
For as long as I’ve been conscious, I’ve been memorizing the Sufi poets, listening to the oracle of the body, praying the prayers of the world’s traditions, and studying deeply within each relationship that illuminated shadows in my own heart I couldn’t see alone.
Now I am preparing to marry the love of my life this Spring and alchemizing the nooks and crannies of my own heart to expand to new depths. I came here to love as loudly as one can- to spread the wings of this heart like a hawk receiving the breeze of open sky, no matter how terrifying it can be.
Somewhere along the way I also became the one my friends confided in. I’m the one who hears stories of a friend’s partner’s porn addiction and of many other’s secret hidden desire to find partnership and start a family while they’re still fertile. I’m the one who becomes the confidant for the woman behind the cash register spilling details of her recent divorce because her husband of decades revealed his affair in a group chat with their children.
Being entrusted with others’ deepest desires and heartbreak around love lights me up. Sitting across steaming cups of tea chatting about the latest date, the way a friend’s view of men has been shaped by her father’s traits, and emphasizing the hope of finding the love you crave is the passion of my life! I relish supporting people in extinguishing shame into power and cheerleading them as they prepare to meet the love of their life!
For this reason, in the last year, I’ve spent over 650 hours in professional training expanding my toolkit. I’ve been nerding out and devouring new knowledge and trauma informed practices to support others in fostering embodied sexuality, nourishing love and fulfilling relationships in this world. My mornings have been spent in meditations on love, Taoist radiance practices, jade egg magic expanding pleasure, and hours of coaching others through transforming their relationships.
Love is the embodied way the divine touches our humanity- it is how we connect and taste the sweetness of being alive. By consciously peeling back the layers keeping us from the love all around us, pleasure begins moving through the body, intimacy blossoms in our relationships and we feel connected to creation itself.
After supporting spiritual seekers for over a decade and co-creating the Wild Heart community of practitioners and sacred grievers, I believe that opening to love is the essence of the spiritual path, and the most worthwhile endeavor I can imagine.
Saying yes to love can feel like the most terrifying thing in this world because showing ourselves enough to love and be loved in a relationship is maybe the most vulnerable thing a human being can do. And if you’re anything like me, confessing the deepest longings of your heart and admitting you desire partnership or love when you don’t yet have it can feel humiliating.
As Rumi reminds us, “Every desire is a desire for God.” Our longings for ecstasy, our wish to light up this body like a sparkler to see flowers bloom instead of bombs dropped is sacred.
I’ve spent much of the last three years pouring my heart and soul into the grief realm and sitting with holy heartbreak. Everywhere I turn these days, there seems to be grief. So much so that some say love is a foolish thing to center. I beg to differ. I can’t imagine a more worthwhile endeavor than love! If we can’t have it at home in our own beds and across our breakfast table, how can we expect to evoke it in light of what is happening in Gaza? We start at home. Do I love my body? Or could I even start to imagine loving a part of it? Love is the most important thing we can cultivate.
Now, I am thrilled to be offering 1:1 coaching focused on embodiment, sacred intimacy and relationships to support you in opening to love.
If you have intentions in 2026 to expand your capacity for love, build a more devoted connection to your body and sacred erotic fire, open to the partnership you long for, or deepen your relationships, I would be thrilled to support you. You can schedule a complimentary 60 minute connection call (www.willowbrook.love/openingtolove) to explore your desires and whether we end up working together or not, you will gain clarity and get a delicious taste of opening to love.
Let’s expand our love muscles together this year and every one following!
