My Forever Home Essentials

OK if you’re new here, I want you to know none of the below is at all shocking. My earliest childhood memories include glass built-ins with giant French doors, filled with dishes upon dishes in some pretty serious and stunning color schemes. Susan, as we know, has exquisite taste… some?? of it has made it’s way down to me. And one thing about taste: it doesn’t just stop at clothes.

I can’t even begin to describe the EUPHORIA I felt when Jordan and I moved into our home and I got to PLAY. One day, I will absolutely do a deeper dive into our ceramics and glassware just FYI. But equally as important, I wanted to curate a list of our go-to home products that have been our essentials for years.

Something to note, we live in a very modern space… which does not mean it’s soulless! My house is kept very clean and VERY organized, but this is also a place where people (AND CHILDREN) live. This means that my Virgo rising has to reel it in and come out to play only on a Sunday, alone, in the garage, organizing the boxes of backstock home goods I buy in bulk (normal people bulk, not Costco-sized bulk.)

I say all of this to preface the fact that when it comes to home essentials, I have this shit locked and loaded. The products I’m sharing with you all today are REPEAT BUYS.… things I have lived with and loved for YEARS. There are so many unpredictable moments in life, I don’t need to be surprised (and really weirded out) by a new random soap scent in my bathroom.

This (TAILORED) list is filled with true essentials in our home, products that feel very our family. Some practical, some that just add to the vibe. Both super fucking necessary in my book.

But before we fully get into it, I want to leave you all with some advice. When it comes to your home, ALWAYS follow your own uniqueness. There’s such a simple joy in taking pride in your space, making sure it’s clean, refined (if that’s your thing), and most importantly feels like YOU.
