My philosophy when it comes to getting back my groove in the kitchen is going for easy, simple meals that don’t require a lot of dishes! This came together in literally 20 minutes and blends a bit of my favorite Italian flavors and Asian. I used Seremoni fish, which is a new seafood resource that sources wild-caught and sustainable fish. It was incredible! I’ll definitely be ordering more. It came frozen, I defrosted in the fridge and it came out flaky, moist and so fresh!
2 filets of white fish (I like bass, flounder or cod for this)
2 cups your fave marinara sauce
1 bunch broccoli rabe
2 tbsp olive oil
Flaky Sea salt
2 tsp chili crisp (my fave is from Trader Joe’s)
In a heavy bottomed pan, add marinara. Bring to a high heat, then simmer on low. Gently place the filets skin down into pan. Top with broccoli rabe, drizzle olive oil and season with salt. Cover and let steam for 15-20 minutes or until fish is opaque and flaky. Season with chili crisp. Serve immediately.
