With Thanksgiving in just a few days, I’ve been reflecting on the last few months—the highs, the challenges, and the moments that have left me feeling deeply grateful.
It’s been a whirlwind season, full of milestones and memories, and I can’t let this time pass without saying thank you.
Two of my newest books are officially out in the world! -
They released on November 13th 2024, and the response has been incredible. Seeing these books land in readers’ hands and hearing how they are resonating reminds me why I love doing this work. I’m also incredibly relieved to have them out in the world!
Recording the audiobook for The Updated and Expanded 2nd Edition of Clever Girl Finance was another milestone—a process that took three days and 12 hours of focused energy. This was officially my 5th audiobook recording!
It was exhausting but rewarding to bring my voice to this project and further the Clever Girl Finance mission - totally worth it.
And then there was the unforgettable moment of having the opportunity to be a return guest on Good Morning America 3 where I got to share holiday spending tips and promote these new books. (Watch the full segment here).
Doing television always, feels surreal not matter how many times I do it. But it’s also very affirming. It’s not just about my books but about being about to empower people to take control of their finances, and this was another reminder of how far Clever Girl Finance has come.
This season also marked a huge personal milestone—I’m now a six-time published author. Let me say that again: six books! 🎊🎊🎊
I don’t take that lightly because each book is a labor of love and the journey of writing each one was filled with many lessons, challenges, tears, love, and so much more.
Here’s what I know for sure: none of this happens without an incredible village.
To my family, friends and the incredible team CGF, thank you for your unwavering support. You’ve been my sounding board, my cheerleaders, and my safe space to land.
To the Clever Girl Finance audience—you all amaze me. Your belief in this mission, your messages, and your stories keep me inspired every day. You are the reason I push through the tough days and keep showing up.
The last few months have been intense, filled with long hours, unexpected hurdles, and moments that tested my resilience. But through it all, I’ve leaned on gratitude. Gratitude for the journey, for the people who’ve supported me, and for the privilege of doing work I’m so passionate about.
So this Thanksgiving, I’m celebrating. I’m celebrating the wins, big and small. I’m celebrating the lessons learned in the hard moments. And most importantly, I’m celebrating all of you—because none of this happens without your support.
As this year draws to a close, I’m also looking ahead with hope and excitement. I’m optimistic about what’s to come and am setting my sights on making 2025 a truly incredible year—filled with new opportunities, more growth, and continuing to make an impact together.
