“Bobby Pulido 🤝 Grupo Fuerza Regida”

I recently joined Fuerza Regida, one of the most influential Mexican music groups right now, at their sold-out stadium tour stop in Arlington, Texas. It was an absolute pleasure, and we even performed my song “Desvelado” together.

There are songs that take on a life of their own over time, and it has been very special to see how Desvelado keeps finding new paths, reaching new generations, and being made its own.

I honestly never expected to have a future in Tejano music. My life just shook out that way.

Now, after 30 years, two Latin GRAMMYs, and a career I’m deeply proud of, I’m the Democratic nominee for Texas’ 15th District.

And I’m 6 points up against Republican incumbent Monica De La Cruz.

Look, I’ve never run for office before. I don’t have a bunch of inside GOP connections like Monica De La Cruz. I just know what it’s like to show up and fight for your community.

Republicans gerrymandered this district in an attempt to silence South Texas.

Now, one step at a time, we’re proving that no matter how hard they try, they can’t gerrymander Tejano culture.

That night in Arlington reminded me why: our music, our community, and our movement all grow the same way. One person passing something on to the next, until it’s bigger than any one of us.

That’s exactly how we’re going to win TX-15.
