Morning Gratitude Reflection on Finding Positivity in the Illness Challenge

Perfect weather this AM… cool air, low humidity… the sounds of silence are so evident in the morning light… meditation sitting reflecting on the gift of life and the healing power of the mind and body…. coffee brought to my home office, thank you wife… Life is Good

I reflect on the randomness of illness…. the other day I received news of a good acquaintance, a young woman in her 30’s receiving a diagnosis of cancer… such a turn of events for someone in the sunrise of their life and career…. her treatment choice is only available outside the U.S…. so, I will be a witness to this innovative treatment and look forward to it unfolding in a cure…. I shared my experienced with an illness in my 30’s and a painful 2-year struggle… this challenge taught me many lessons that I have never lost sight of for the next 45 plus years… so much gratitude for my recovery…. I wish this young woman the same results, and that she can carry away positive character-building gratitude forward into a long life …. Namaste my friends, may you have gratitude for each hurdle you face today as it will make you stronger as you figure out how to fill your glass.
