Don’t let other people make your entertainment decisions for you.

A film review or criticism shouldn’t answer the binary question “should I watch this or not.” It should deepen the medium and understanding of the film.

A good film review (even negative) should still make people want to check out the movie.

I highly recommend watching this 90-second Roger Ebert clip.
