I needed one page.
It requested ink, paper, attention, and emotional support.
Then it printed sideways.
Naturally.
There is a box of cords in the closet.
None of them fit the thing in my hand.
Some date back to electronics that have joined the ancestors.
Mine is either silent for three days, or building a glacier at midnight.
There is no middle setting.
Only mystery.
Inside, calls wobble and vanish.
Outside, suddenly everyone can hear me.
So now I conduct business
beside a hanging basket.
The neighbor who waved first.
Small gesture.
Big difference.
The day softened right there.

Did this one earn a “bravo”? Restack it and let it find its audience.
