Summer is the perfect time for a road trip... so for June, I decided to spend the entire month hitting the road for a brand new Summer Road Trip Series.
The idea is simple: let the destination be the inspiration. Every stop is an opportunity to dress up a character, tell a new style story, and hunt for the very best vintage and thrift stores along the way.
Stop Two: Los Angeles.
This time, I let thrift queen Macy Eleni be my guide. With her book Second Chances in hand, we headed to one of her favorite thrift spots in the Valley: Super Thrift Reseda.
What followed was a quintessential LA day... sitting in traffic, spending hours digging through the thrift racks with Dianne, finding some goodies and dreaming up outfit ideas!
And because no LA road trip is complete without it, we wrapped up the day with a stop at In N Out. My order? A Double Double with cheese, mustard fried, whole grilled onions, no lettuce, no tomato, animal style fries, and a Diet Coke with lemon. Perfection!
Come along for the full adventure, see everything we found, and join us for another day of treasure hunting over on YouTube.
and shop Macy Eleni’s book!
While shopping the racks at Super Thrift Reseda, I found the most perfectly striped, cinched Nicole Miller blazer... which immediately sent me down a rabbit hole of ‘90s Nicole Miller.
These are some of my favorite vintage Nicole Miller pieces that absolutely deserve a spot in your dress up closet.
here’s my find that inspired all the other finds…
