Last week I kicked off a new series I’m so excited about: Styling with Icons. And for the very first episode, I had the absolute honor of having on Mandi Line, the costume designer behind some of tv’s most iconic looks, including Pretty Little Liars, Greek, The Bold Type, and The Young and the Restless (just to name a few!).
Mandi and I spent the day chatting about her incredible career, her creative process, and how she approaches storytelling through fashion. Then came the really fun part.
I asked Mandi if she would take all the vintage goodness of Recess Vintage and imagine what the ladies of Pretty Little Liars might be wearing in 2026.
What came next was pure magic.
Watching Mandi dream up modern versions of Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily was so much fun. And the biggest pinch me moment? Getting to try on all the looks myself… I got to twirl and whirl stepping into the worlds of these iconic characters, bringing Mandi’s vision to life one outfit at a time.
