I’ve just added a new feature to the Bitcoin supply histogram by price: a cumulative distribution function (CDF). This curve (shown in orange) makes it easier to see what share of the total supply was acquired above or below any given price level.
As of today, the data shows that roughly 10% of the Bitcoin supply is held at a loss in USD terms, while the remaining 90% is in profit. Put another way, about 10% of all coins were purchased above the current market price of $112.8k.
