Two-spotted Bumblebee seeking out the nectar on a native Bush Honeysuckle shrub.
Butterfly Weed is now in bloom. This species of milkweed grows well in dry, well-drained locations with plenty of sun.
Boulder walls in the garden make great habitat for chipmunks to hide and burrow in.

For many years I have tried unsuccessfully to get a good photo of a doe nursing her fawns and today when driving to a friend’s house, I saw this:
