Black Strap

The unsensational awareness of a man who’s feeling up the big ole body of me
Flirting unabashedly and trying to keep up

I wasn’t expecting it post-sauna but that’s how it goes when you’ve worked for so long
This inherent and sickening kindness mixed with the understanding that this is a man who’s got more and next to nothing compared to me
The privilege and ownership of body and mind

I can feel it in his hands they’re hot
We move on
but really

I could tell he wanted to get sat on and probably called a name or two
Oh well…it’s a family vacation and I’m not booking

Revelry in The Age of Disco and Astronomical Achievement

The room’s deeply red and I’m glancing, moving through shadows.
Spinning lines and flesh amassed.
Taut thought, raising a glass to what’s next, what’s more.
Nothing and everything is waiting for me in a disco ball.
Maybe I’ll find it on my bathroom floor.
The next time
we get outta this
country
it’s gotta
be warmer.
I’m sure though because this time we each make over $1k
Money wasting through
spills but
at least
I’m never hungry anymore.

Hot Springs

Pulsing each step and aching more than that time

I slept over though I should’ve woke up
Tipping until
I find myself again

Wafting in the steam… it has a scent close to a place I’ve been before
Switchback on the trail

Dripping d
own

you can see me.
