We’re excited to share that our very own Science Communicator, Ms. Clair Xiaowen Hu, recently represented the Bilu Huang Aging Institute at the International Longevity Alliance (ILA) General Assembly on January 28, 2026.
This wasn’t just any meeting—it was a key moment for the global longevity community. Clair took part in voting for the ILA Board and Chairman, helping to shape the leadership that will guide international collaboration in aging research and advocacy over the coming term.
Why does this matter for us?
Because being part of ILA means we’re connected to a vibrant network of 75 organizations across 65 countries, all united by one goal: to make healthy longevity accessible to everyone, everywhere. It’s about turning science into action, and policy into progress.
Looking ahead to 2026, we’re thrilled to deepen our collaboration with ILA and its worldwide community. Together, we’ll focus on:
Advancing cutting-edge research in ageing biology
Supporting the development and real-world application of new therapies
Advocating for smarter public health policies on aging
Raising awareness and educating the public about longevity science
At Bilu Huang Aging Institute, we’re on a mission to conquer aging driven by curiosity and care. Founded by independent scientist Bilu Huang, we dive deep into the biology of aging—not just to understand it, but to turn science into rejuvenation solutions. From exploring aging mechanisms to developing breakthrough treatments for age-related diseases, we’re all about action and innovation.
Based in both Hong Kong and Sanming, Fujian, we’re building more than a institute—we’re building a bridge. A bridge that connects global research, fosters open collaboration, and brings trustworthy science to everyone.
Our goal? To become a trusted, forward-looking nonprofit that’s rigorous in research, responsible in governance, and relentless in sharing knowledge—because aging isn’t just a challenge, it’s our shared future. And we’re here to help shape it, together.
