We are delighted to share a significant milestone in our journey. The Bilu Huang Aging Institute has been officially established in Hong Kong.

For decades, our understanding of aging has been fragmented by competing theories. At our institute, led by theoretical biologist Bilu Huang, we are committed to changing that. Building on the TRCS model—which views aging as a genetic program co-regulated by telomeres and rDNA clocks—our work focuses on the theoretical mechanisms that drive cellular senescence and their translation into understanding age-related degenerative diseases .

Our approach is unique: we prioritize conceptual breakthroughs and theoretical models as the foundation for future applications. We believe that to truly “conquer aging,” we must first understand its fundamental logic.

We are now eager to expand our network. Whether you are a researcher interested in collaborative studies, an institution focused on longevity, or a partner in scientific education, we welcome you to join us.
