Tarek M. Ben Lechhab · Tarek's Corner

This publication used to be named "AI-Augmented Swift Indies", which was a mouthful by the way.

I'm thinking about making a few changes, and I renamed my publication to “Tarek's Corner", meaning it's just my small piece on the internet from where I talk.

As a reminder, I wrote about many things:

  • Building apps (in public)

  • My indie life

  • A bit of Swift

  • And Coding with AI

It seems like my content around coding with AI is popular, and I'm starting to develop quite some expertise in the field.

So my idea is also to focus a bit more on writing about Coding with AI, no matter your tech stack.

It is in line with my experience once again: AI makes us all generalists / specialists. In the past, as a developer, you could choose one of two paths:

1. Become highly experimented and knowledgeable in a technology, a platform, or a language

2. Be a generalist, with basic knowledge on a broad range of topics

But with AI, the lines are becoming more blurry: Your AI coding tool can bring the expertise you don't have. It's much easier to transfer knowledge from a domain to another, or even be a generalist and let the LLM bring the specialist craft for you.

So I could increase the number of posts I make about coding with AI, while still keeping writing on other topics.

I even thought about making some weekly curated posts with news and links about Coding with AI.

And now, I would like you to tell me what do you want to read.

Do not hesitate to drop in the comments your thoughts and what you expect from me. What got you interested when you subscribed?

Should I pivot to focus more on AI coding content? Keep the current mix? Something else entirely?

Your feedback will directly shape the future of this publication.

Thanks for reading Tarek's Corner! This post is public so feel free to share it.
