We’ve had some lovely Spring days recently, warm enough to dog-walk the fields with just a couple of layers to counter some fresh winds. The magnolia blossom has been replaced by the sweet smell of lilacs - an all too short season for them - the tang of the flowering elders, and houses disappearing under clouds of wisteria.
