One founder. One target customer. One marketing and customer acquisition channel. One personal AI agent. One work database. One daily work schedule. One hero goal. One commitment to finding and focusing on your 80/20.
Then one hundred million tokens to do it all with control.
That is the new life and business path.
The thing is, AI won't speed up (that much) the learning and discovery process. You have to go through that. The faster you can run ads or do sales calls or create content, the faster you get the data you need to adjust and learn and figure it out.
Every business early on figures out the power of one. And most, for their life, end up only being good at one thing... and still most get distracted in all the shiny objects. Few own that one thing and make it their core.
I suggest you not make that mistake.
Also, quick note on hiring → HIRE extremely slowly (or not at all if you can help it). Until it's so painful and you have the revenue and margin to support it.
I now believe that for 99.99% of people, you should be able to create a ONE PERSON BUSINESS that works before you even think of bringing on employees. (Yes, use contractors if you have to.)
This is the way.
LITEZ is the one upgrade your eyes actually get: an all-day 3 Lens system built for screen life.
Help protect your precious eyeballs by blocking up to 99% of the blue light that’s daily assaulting them from every screen around.
May help reduce eye strain, headaches, and trouble falling asleep at night. (Does for me.)
I work with the yellow lens during the day (now) and the orange and red when I’m home. BH readers get 10% off using code BHNL.
I packaged up the skill I made as the MC drifted on today’s session. So I had to lock it in.
Here’s the file. Try it out.
If you pair this with the AI work db, a work db in Notion I use to organize the tasks/sessions I work on so I don't lose history/context as I switch between LLMs, then you tell a new session something like this:
Act as Master Control and spin up subchats/agentes to execute on what we need or project X → Check the Notion AI work db, give me a plan, and let's set a goal. Target work time is 2 hours. Go
Approve plan

Singularity Hub: This week's awesome tech stories through July 18
Spend 60 minutes pricing out the team your current AI stack replaces. List what a designer, a developer, a copywriter, an analyst, and an assistant would have cost you per month in 2015. Put a real dollar figure next to each. Then put your actual monthly AI spend next to the total. Stare at the gap. That number is your unfair advantage, and most people have never calculated it. Print it, pin it, and act like someone holding that much leverage.
🤖 AI
🟢 AAPL. Hit records and briefly took the top market-cap spot from Nvidia as its patient AI play won the week.
🟢 CSCO +2.1%. Networking caught the defensive AI-infrastructure bid while chips sold off.
🔴 NVDA −3%. Rotation out of the AI bellwether; it briefly ceded the most-valuable-company crown.
🔴 GOOGL −4%. Gemini 3.5 Pro reportedly delayed after weak coding and reasoning tests.
💻 Tech
🟢 Energy-adjacent tech names like VLO +2% caught the oil bid as crude jumped 2.8%.
🟢 No second real tech winner Friday. The PHLX chip index closed in a bear market.
🔴 NFLX −10%. Hit a 52-week low after earnings guidance disappointed.
🔴 AMD. Sold off hard with Intel as the global semiconductor rout deepened.
🏦 Finance
🟢 TRV +9.3%. Monster Q2 beat, 10.04 dollars per share against a 5.41 estimate.
🟢 Insurers followed Travelers higher. The one clean pocket of green in financials.
🔴 GS −2.7%. Led the Dow's financial losers on the risk-off tape.
🔴 Banks broadly red as money rotated to defensives and energy.
🌎 Other
🟢 ABT +10.7%. Big earnings and revenue beat for the med-device giant.
🟢 JBHT +8%. Trucking earnings surprised to the upside.
🔴 KO −4%. The Dow's worst performer after results.
🔴 No second standout loser outside tech. The selling stayed concentrated in chips and streaming.
Friday's tape rotated out of the AI story and into boring earnings beats: insurance, med devices, trucking. Execution got paid and hype got sold. Same asymmetry this whole edition is about. The game is wide open for whoever actually ships.

Every AI right now is a "yes man", and I'm soooo tired of it. Maybe you are too. I don't want an LLM that claps for everything I do. I want the one that tells me my writing is weak, my logic falls apart halfway through, and I've been lying to myself about the thing I keep

Look, I get this text at 8am every morning.
My AI assistant reads my calendar, my inbox, my crm, and my open tasks and sends me a daily Morning Briefing.
I stopped managing follow-ups. I stopped checking my calendar completely.
And my email is also down to 15 mins a day (that skill is also included below).
I can reply to my agent in chat, and it will take actions like:
Move that cal invite to 4pm and send them an email
Push that follow-up back 3 days.
Add this task to my task DB, remind me in 7 days
So and so forth.
I packed this up into a simple 5 min install.
This is the fastest way to get started with a personal AI agent assistant.
You can build anything you want on top of this foundation. Have it run your entire life or have it just run one, 2, 5, or 10 parts of your life.
Either way, you’ll never be worse off getting a morning briefing.
I packaged this all up into one link… a five-minute install, works in Claude or ChatGPT, Hermes, Claw, and whatever next thing there is. It’s model agnostic.
I can’t recommend getting an agent going enough. It’s what really transformed my relationship with AI and made me a believer after seeing the immediate productivity gains.
