🦾 AI needs to know who you are

AI is only as good as the context and instructions you give it.

To get better output, it needs to know who you are. The more context you give it, the better.

Make sure your Claude and our GPT, your global memory, have a Markdown file that’s about you:

• your businesses

• your brand

• your links

• your awards

• your story

• your history

As with any tool, it is only as good as the user that’s using the tool.

This is a simple fix: Create a Markdown file that you can use in any project, and also in your global settings; it can be a complete game changer.

Even better: Ask AI to ask you 20 or so questions needed to make the perfect ABOUT ME Markdown file. Then do it and save it and use it.

Every morning at 8am, my assistant texts me my day before I have looked at a single app.

It can do that because it has context: it reads my calendar, my inbox, my CRM, and my open projects before I wake up.

That is the difference between a chatbot and staff. A model with no memory of your life gives you generic answers. An agent wired into your day gives you leverage.

I stopped managing follow-ups. I stopped checking my calendar. Email is down to 15 minutes a day.

I can reply to my agent in chat, and it will take actions like:

1. Move that cal invite to 4pm and send them an email

2. Push that follow-up back 3 days.

3. Add this task to my task DB, remind me in 7 days

4. So and so forth.

It is the fastest way to get started with a personal AI agent, and it is the foundation move for everything in today's edition: it gives the machine your context.

You can build anything on top of it. Have it run your whole life or just one, 2, 5, or 10 parts of it.

1. Open one blank doc. Notion page, Google Doc, or plain text file. Title it MEMORY.

2. Brain-dump the context your AI never has: who you are, what you sell, your customers, this quarter's goals, how you like output formatted.

3. Ask Claude to reorganize it into sections it can scan fast: Identity, Business, Projects, Preferences.

4. Start every session by pasting it in, or wire it into your project instructions so it loads automatically.

5. End each workday with one line: "Update the memory file with what changed today." That is where the compounding starts.

Spend 60 minutes writing the one document your AI reads before it does anything: who you are, what you sell, who you serve, what you are building this quarter, and how you like output delivered.

Then start every session by feeding it that file. Watch the generic answers disappear.

One hour. One file. Your AI stops being a stranger. That's the way.

• 🔴 RUT −0.4% Friday. Small caps drifted lower but dodged the real damage.

• 🔴 Crude +2.8% to 81 dollars a barrel. A win for energy stocks, a loss at the pump.

The take: the market forgot the AI trade was dead in exactly one weekend. Chips got dumped Friday and bought back Monday on one data center lease. Markets have no memory. Your system should.
