Quick question before we get into it: I want to know what you actually want from this thing, and I have opened up a little client work. Tell me here.

A billion people can use the same tools you can.

A billion people have infinite intelligence at their fingertips.

Your edge now is building experience, deep expertise (from doing, not just reading), relationships, and your network.

Your health is going to be an edge (or a liability).

Without sleep, real food, sunlight, or the basics of being a healthy human, your body CAN’T operate efficiently. And your brain is part of your body.

So ya…

Shit health gives you less energy, less focus, less brain power, less happiness, less everything.

Ten years now takes two

The thing about this AI Revolution that is so profound is how it is compressing time.

Things that used to take ten years can happen in two. Or one. Or 6 months in some cases

This means your habits, routines, ability to think in first principles, your ability to focus, and your ability to decide become more important with each passing day.

These verrry damn important things determine how fast things compound in your favor.

So if you're focusing your energy using high-leverage things like AI agents, AI-enabled promoted talent, and other high-leverage tools at your disposal, your results are going to come harder and faster.

Because compounding used to take years. Now it takes months, literally.

There's never been a time in history where your daily decisions can show up in RESULTS this fast. And it's accelerating.

I don't think there's ever been a time in history where, if you just focus for a year, you could change your life FOREVER.

You don't notice them. That's the thing.

You wear them for two weeks and it just becomes normal.

Then one day you forget them. Work a full day without them.

And by 4pm your eyes are doing that thing again. The dull ache behind them. You look up from the screen and the room takes a second to sharpen.

That's when you find out what they were doing.

LITEZ block the blue light coming off your screens. Less of it hitting your eyes all day means less strain by the end of it, and an easier time shutting your brain off at night.

Third-party tested to block 100% of blue light. Buy a cheap blue light meter and check it yourself, or just feel the difference (yes, your body feels blue light).

If you don’t really care about blue life, you'll still feel the difference.

Try them. If you don't like them, send them back for a full refund.

First, tell me what to write

I write this every day. I would rather write the thing you actually want to read than guess at it. What do you want more of? What do you skip? What would make you forward this to someone? Thirty seconds of your honesty is worth more to me than a hundred opens. Feedback link → Fill out this form

Two. I have room for a few clients again.

For years I have done this work: AI, wealth, life, entrepreneurship, small business, ads, marketing. Not theory. I built the companies, ran the ads, made the mistakes, paid for the lessons.

I am back to doing my own thing now, which means I have space for a small number of people and businesses to work with directly. Coaching, consulting, or just getting your operation into the AI age before your competition figures it out. Fill this out, and we can explore if I can help (and if not, I can point you in the right direction).

I’ve been working on my new brand for 60 straight days. Just me and GPT/Claude.

I have a team of 10, but I wanted to do it myself. There’s something about moving fast and not having to wait on time zones, email, and other people to get things done. It’s very addictive for someone like me.

The site is still under construction, but we have over 300+ hand selected watches. Some we’ll stock only once (and only a few units at that), and some we’ll bring back for the long run. OneGoodWatch.co

I’m working on the OGW custom line, the house brand, and the first sample runs have come out beyond expectations. Check out the first run:

These are all automatics.

Hand-assembled by a small independent watchmaker. Sapphire crystal. Most are under 12mm thick. A couple have domed crystals.

All have the Seiko NH35 24-jewel Japanese-made movements.

Most of these will be for sale as a one-off. Two or three on this list will come back as standards in the 1GW line.

I’m working on a custom program as well for anyone who wants to design their own watch for themselves or to make an insanely epic gift or graduation present. My watchmaker has agreed to make one-offs for me (granted I pay a bit more), which is not all that common in the space. Most simply won’t do it. They either want obscene $$$ for single runs or require you to buy 100-300 units per style. Stay tuned for more. And if you have interest in acquiring any of the above, send me an email! (They aren’t listed yet but will be going up soon.)

A few things aabout ecom and CPG and brand building

I’ve been in ecom for 13 years, selling mostly health products through my first brand, Wild Foods. Now that I’ve fully exited, I’ve found myself in physical goods.

Something I learned with Wild is how hard it is to sell health products. That quote that goes like, “Sell painkillers, not vitamins.” Ya. I know EXACTLY what they mean when they say that.

Well, I sold mostly “vitamins” for 13 years, which may be one of the most competitive and hardest-to-convert stranger markets online.

That said, the thing about ecommerce—and really any business—is this:

  1. If there is a market, you can find enough customers to support you if you stay patient, consistent, and focused.

  2. The more competitive the space, the more focus required.

  3. Do something different. THERE IS NO WAY AROUND THIS LAW as it pertains to b2c. You must do something different, or people have zero reason (negative reason) to buy from you against the bigger, more trusted brands.

  4. Invest in the customer experience. It’s really easy to stand out in ecom. 9 out of 10 brands, or 99 out of 100 maybe, that I’ve bought from online do not write handwritten notes on their packing slips. It’s such an easy way to stand out and build a relationship with your customers, yet almost NO BRANDS do it. Why? Because they use 3PLs, and 3PLs have warehouse employees who pack orders for dozens or hundreds of customers. And most don’t think it's worth it to create a system (and the extra $) to make it happen. Since I shipped our own products for years, we built it in. Easy. And i really do think people come back over the little things like that.

  5. Do the basics → email, sms, simple SEO, clean website, make sure it’s fast, simple ads /offer / landing pages that make sense, are congruent, etc. There are many brands that don't even set up basic Klaviyo email automations. Like, it takes 5 mins. And many just don't. (And Postcards, don't even get me started on those.)

  6. Do less. I made this mistake hard. I still make this mistake hard, but Im getting better. The more you do—TikTok, wholesale, Faire, Walmart, Etsy, Pinterest, X, Reddit, TV marketing, AppLovin, link building, events, influencers, UGC, it goes ON and on and on and on. Most brands—most businesses really—that grow figure out how to do one channel well. They then proceed to fuck it up by moving resources to other channels they don’t do well or have never done at all.

  7. One customer at a time. It’s easy to watch YouTube and see all these kids talking about how they make 6 figures a month. So when you have an order queue showing one order or a few, it might not feel super motivating. But it should be. The fact that someone came to your website out of the millions of websites and stores and Amazon and Walmart and all the other places you can shop online to buy from you… it’s HUGE. Huge. Celebrate it. And do everything you can to make them satisfied and happy so they come back and, if you’re lucky, share you with a friend.

  8. As the world goes fast and wide, you go fast and DEEP and simple and focused. This has been true even though I’ve mostly ignored it the last 13 years. It becomes MORE true and necessary with each passing day.
