My Biggest Secret of the Summer REVEALED

I’ve been keeping a little secret… Actually, a huge one. And it was just revealed at San Diego ComicCon!!!!

The story of this story is one for the ages. And I’ve been immersed in Star Wars for the last two months working on this book. I can’t tell you much, but I can say:

1. It’s about Leia’s time training as a Jedi

2. It’s told from both Luke and Leia’s POV

3. I cannot believe what they let me do in Chapter 1

4. The twins go on a secret mission to Coruscant

5. Nothing goes according to plan

This book is truly one that has been such an honor to write. I am astounded by my good fortune to get to work with some of my favorite people in Star Wars publishing again. I have longed to write Luke and Leia together, and in so many ways, this story feels like coming home.

The Princess and the Scoundrel let me explore what Star Wars means to me now. I tapped into my own love story to write that book, and it was such a celebration of hope and joy.

Twin Crossroads is letting me explore what Star Wars meant to me in the past. I don’t mean that it’s full of nostalgia; I mean that it’s the story I wrote because of the past I’ve had, and the ways Star Wars is a part of that past.

I’ll just add one more thing: This book is coming out just in time for the 50th anniversary of Star Wars, and it truly feels like a bridge between past, present, and future stories. I am so, so, so over the moon thrilled to get to celebrate the legacy of Star Wars with you and this book.

I’ve been getting a lot of requests lately, and the thing is: a bookstore requesting me has the most weight for my publisher to send me to a city, and a reader like you talking to a bookstore has the most weight to a bookstore to request me.
