Sorry for the back-to-back emails—I’m going to claim that since I skipped sending a newsletter in May, you hopefully won’t be too mad I sent a second one in June after sending a first one, but!! It’s that’s time of year again, when Barnes and Noble has their big preorder sale, and I wanted to make sure you didn’t miss it!
First: remember to support your local indie bookstores if you can! They are vital to the community. Also, don’t forget: preorder incentives come from indie bookstores!
If you preorder The Crimson Throne paperback from Page 158 Books or Bibliobar Books, you’ll get a signed bookplate, a fancy (and beautiful art print), and a chance to win an advanced copy of the sequel, The Blood Queen!
And if you preorder Dragon of the Deep from Malaprops, you’ll get a signed special edition copy + a ton of extra swag goodies (multiple art prints, cool bookmark, and more!).
That said, I also know budgets are stretched thin, so I wanted to share the BN sale.
And just because I love you (because seriously, I don’t do math for people I don’t love), I added up the amount of entertainment (based on how long the audiobooks are) and the discounted price:
The BN Preorder Sale happens only a few times a year, so I hope you’ll excuse my back-to-back emails on this one! Preorders actually make a huge difference for an author, so if you were thinking of getting any of these, I would appreciate your early support, from here, your local indie bookstore, or any other bookstore you love.
