I cannot believe it’s today…a day I have been waiting almost an entire year for…today is Cover Reveal Day for the second Feisty Deeds anthology—Feisty Deeds II: Historical Fictions of Batches and Brews.

Being part of the first anthology and now the second has been a wild journey and a blessing. I lovingly refer to Feisty Deeds: Historical Fictions of Daring Women as “the little anthology that could.” It brought 23 writers together to tell heroic and extraordinary tales of seemingly ordinary women. It gave many of us the title “published author.” Dreams came true! Then, it won multiple awards—check out my website to see just how many and which ones.

Now, the devoted editorial committee and more members of the Women’s Fiction Writers Association’s Historical Fiction Group have “cooked up” a second installment. (Pun intended.) How phenomenal is that? So, without further ado…

Ta-da!!! Isn’t it lovely? Oh, I cannot wait to read all of the stories and share more about my contribution with you all!

Edited by Carolyn Korsmeyer, Christy Matheson, Elaine Aucoin Schroller, Kay Smith-Blum, and Kimberly Sullivan

Foreword by K.J. Dell’Antonia, New York Times best-selling author of the novels The Chicken Sisters, Playing the Witch Card, In Her Boots, and the non-fiction book How to Be a Happier Parent.

All proceeds earned from this collection are destined for the WFWA Scholarship Fund, which benefits authors with financial constraints, allowing them access to conferences, writing craft classes, and technology that will enhance their writing careers.
