Beta University and Yifu Liu are hosting a curated demo day where 15 selected AI and deeptech startups pitch live to investors, enterprise leaders, and operators. The event covers sectors including AI, robotics, biotech, climate tech, and advanced manufacturing — with a special focus on U.S.–Asia commercialization pathways.
The top prize? A free trip to Asia, with a $10M+ total prize pool on the line.
The afternoon runs two back-to-back pitch sessions, followed by an awards ceremony and a sit-down dinner. Founders can apply to pitch; everyone else is welcome to attend and connect.
Saturday 6/13 Agent Native Company
Beta University is hosting a high-velocity one-day hackathon for builders, engineers, and founders ready to prototype and ship agent-native AI products in a single day. Working solo or in teams, participants will build across tracks spanning Autonomous GTM, MVP Speed-Run, Next-Gen Infrastructure, and an open Wildcard category — with venture judges and enterprise operators providing direct feedback.
Total $3,000 cash on the spot, plus a Beta Fellowship that fast-tracks standout teams into Beta University’s 8-week pre-accelerator with a $25K investment on completion.
The day runs two build sessions bookended by workshops and demos, closing with an audience vote and awards ceremony. Builders can register to compete; everyone else is welcome to watch, connect, and recruit.
Saturday 6/20 Beta Fund X Antler Hackathon

On May 29th, Beta University hosted the AI & Deeptech Startup Competition at JJ Lake in Mountain View, bringing together 50+ founders, investors, engineers, and operators. 18 startups pitched live across two tracks — AI/Deeptech and One Person Company (OPC) — competing for sponsored trips to the Asia Global Finals this July, where a $10M+ prize pool is on the line.
Startups spanned focus areas including AI infrastructure, robotics, biotech, semiconductors, climate tech, and brain-computer interfaces — a strong signal of where the next generation of deeptech is being built.
On the OPC track, Somi took the top spot. On the AI/Deeptech side, Mesathera, Micro-Trace, Biuty, and Satori all placed among the strongest teams of the day. A huge thank you to our judges — Richard, Derrick, YiKun, Nicolas, and Adam — for their time and sharp feedback.
The Asia Global Finals take place in July 2026. Stay tuned for the location announcement.

Working solo or in teams, participants were backed by top mentors, investors, and GTM operators as they rapidly prototyped and demoed real, functional products across tracks spanning Autonomous GTM, MVP Speed-Run, Next-Gen Infrastructure, and an open Wildcard category.
After a full day of building and a live audience vote, Swarm Market took the top spot — with Parents Up, Loop, Foundry, and others rounding out the podium. Each team had just three minutes to pitch their working product to a room of investors and operators, making execution speed and clarity of vision the ultimate differentiators.
