As BEST celebrates its 35th anniversary, look back at the impact you helped create in 2025, explore new opportunities to work with us, and view a sneak peek at what’s ahead in 2026, including Bike Valet and Eco-Voyage.

As we head into 2026 - and our 35th anniversary - everyone at BEST Mobility is energized by what’s ahead. We have ambitious plans to expand our programs, strengthen partnerships, and play an even bigger role in shaping sustainable transportation policies and programs across British Columbia. From advancing shared mobility to advocating for walkable communities, pedestrian streets, and accessible transportation options for seniors, the coming year is about scaling what works and deepening our impact.

This momentum is built on the strong foundation laid in 2025. With your support, BEST drove meaningful change in communities across the province. Read how your support helped advance sustainable transportation last year in our 2025 Impact Report.

Join the BEST Team! We are currently hiring a Director of Communications and Events and a Program Coordinator for Youth Sustainable Transportation (4-month position for a student at UVIC, SFU, UNBC or UBC).

The Director of Communications and Events will lead the delivery of BEST’s communications, events and campaigns. The Director will bring their commitment to sustainable transportation and translate that into campaigns and events that inspire action, mobilize communities and influence public policy.

The Program Coordinator will take a lead role in developing a strategy to amplify the reach and impact of our multi-modal education programs for high school students.

Rei Kitawaga joined us for his fall co-op term, supporting all of BEST’s programs as a Project Assistant. As a Master of Urban Studies student at SFU with a strong academic and professional interest in sustainable mobility, one of his goals was to gain hands-on experience in this area.

The Bike Valet is open for 2026 bookings in what we expect to be the busiest year yet! Schedule a call with us to book your Bike Valet for this year, and we’ll help get you rolling in no time!

After two years of piloting the Eco-Voyage program with the support of the City of Vancouver and TransLink, we are proud to announce that Eco-Voyage will continue in 2026.

Since its launch, Eco-Voyage has delivered 30+ successful multi-modal transportation workshops for newcomers and youth, empowering participants to explore sustainable, affordable, and accessible ways of getting around. The program has generated strong interest from other municipalities and jurisdictions across Metro Vancouver, and we’re excited to expand Eco-Voyage to new communities in the coming year.
