AI Attack

There is almost no area in which AI cannot perform a useful function. Why pay a shrink if you can chat away with ChatGPT at no cost? Nearly all personal and professional advisory services will become degraded or made obsolete. It is true to say that all science stems from imagination but imagination resulting in scientific reality can easily be adopted by AI to draw on its compendium of data to form a new basis on which creative people can work. In effect it will speed up all the processes involved and the old will be far more rapidly overtaken by the new than ever before.

Perhaps being a patent lawyer will be among the best bets for a while as one can see a hurricane of patent suits on the way, but then it may be A1 that forms the best judge of legal claims, if not their morality. My bet if I was a student would be a career in medical treatment. A surgeon can be improved but not easily replaced. As for politicians they have always been disposable. It is touch that AI takes away and it is touch that need be replaced in some form if humanity is to remain human. All faiths recognise love as their principal. If you can worship an imaginary god then AI can easily replace it. What it cannot replace is emotion and physicality.
