Press Release 01/04/2026

“Then it went out and closed $122B in funding at an $852B valuation. The largest single fundraise in venture history says the market still sees OpenAI as the overwhelming center of gravity in the industry, even if the headlines haven't”.

Despite talking AI down recently its the Money that talks and people easily forget that Amazon didn’t make profits for years while its share price made fortunes for early investors. The big boys get the ground floor jam entry price and take the most risk but AI is inescapable for most - investors or not. Those that will lose their jobs and careers and those shareholders in businesses that are overtaken by AI technology as well as those who will benefit by employee reductions and savings on a huge scale.

The choices are harsh for some but to ignore them means ignoring the future and its consequences. Einstein used to say that he wrote down his deductions and filed them not just in a book or filing cabinet but out of his brain so that he could leave it clear and unfuddled with TMI for his next brainwave. AI is already doing this for billions of people. Why learn and store information if its available at a moments notice on your mobile or PC? Why not let AI do your boring work for you using the best thought processes of humanity wrapped into one for every decision and problem you face for your own convenience? Why not just relax and play games and converse with friends as all today’s kids do, even forming emotional relationships with AI avatars.

If it seems like a promised world of universal content then maybe - like many offerings of what seem to be too good to be true - they turn out not to be. That is always the question in a life requiring decisions so can AI be what it promises? Humanity’s guide to take life easy? To access information on your health few doctors ever learned or to settle legal issues or how to make good your home or car or even your spouse without need for professional advice?

In a world wrestling with existential crises of war and shortages of fuel and food amid the constant reporting of the frivoulous that AI might resolve humanity’s uncertainty and woes seems a rainbow of a dream that disappears on touch. AI is still a tool to be used wisely. It assembles known information as food for thought but it does not replace thought. AI info can and will be improved by additions of creative thought from humans. The day AI may also begin to think for itself has not yet arrived.
