In my last letter, I wrote about the Villain Era: the moment you stop apologizing for choosing yourself. Read here
But once you claim your power, something strange happens; you start dreaming bigger than your current reality allows.
That’s where delusion comes in.
And I’m not talking about the TikTok trend (although we did love that era; it reminded us that the key to getting what you want is to embody it, to know it will work out).
Delusion, aka being delulu, is finding a way when you can’t see one.
It’s knowing it will work out because you deserve it.
It’s not false positivity; it’s complete surrender, because there’s no way you went through all that pain and change for nothing.
And I know what you’re thinking: How could something so big work out for me when no one around me has done it?
But that’s exactly why it’s meant for you. You were chosen to go first.
The fact that you want more, crave more, and can see a different version of your life, even if it’s only in your mind, means it’s already possible for you; the desire itself is evidence.
Everyone tells you to be “realistic,” but being realistic often just means play small, stay in the box, don’t make anyone uncomfortable.
But we weren’t born that way.
Watch any child.
They touch, taste, climb, and explore without fear.
They jump into puddles, ask questions, and dream out loud.
They don’t ask if they’re allowed to want more; they just do.
That’s our natural state: limitless, curious, and unfiltered.
It’s only when the world starts telling us what’s “right,” “wrong,” and “possible” that we start shrinking.
Our parents or caretakers (or whoever raised us) taught us what they knew, but if they grew up in a world where staying small felt safe, of course, they passed that on.
It wasn’t a lack of love; it was what survival looked like to them.
So yes, your foundation might be shaky, but that just means it’s yours to rebuild.
Forgive them for not seeing your vision, and keep going.
Every version of your life started as a thought no one else could see.
Your first word.
Your first step.
Your first job.
Your first dream.
None of it was guaranteed; you did it anyway.
And now that you’re older, the process hasn’t changed; only your awareness has.
This is where your Reticular Activating System (RAS) comes in.
It’s a network of nerve cells in your brainstem that filters information to decide what’s worth noticing.
Basically, your RAS helps you see more of what you believe in. The more you focus on something, the more your brain starts to find it: proof, patterns, and signs.
Your mind begins working in the background to connect you with the life you want.
And here’s the thing: whatever it is you want, the more you chase it, the more it will seem to run away. But when you’re calm and confident in your end goal, everything starts aligning. You begin to notice little signs: a line in a book, a post on your feed, a random suggestion from someone that feels right.
Opportunities start finding you.
Because when you stop forcing, you start attracting.
That’s what alignment feels like: light, certain, and magnetic.
And the more aligned you feel, the more naturally you begin to embody the version of you who already has what she wants.
So what do you do while your reality is still catching up?
You keep embodying.
Mind: Feed yourself better thoughts (podcasts, books, affirmations).
Body: Move. Nourish. Walk, stretch, or gym. Negative energy hates movement.
Spirit: Practice gratitude, visualize your dream life, and journal it until it feels real.
Basically, take action inwardly and outwardly.
If you want to be a writer, write.
If you want to be a creator, post.
If you want to move, research the city.
If you want to reinvent yourself, list where you are, where you want to be, and cut everything that doesn’t align.
Most people only recognize their manifestations after they’ve arrived; that’s post-manifestation awareness: when it’s already too late to realize how powerful your belief was.
Pay attention to how you feel, to the tiny choices you make daily.
Keeping promises to yourself is the first and most sacred step toward becoming her.
But here’s the truth: it takes time.
Sometimes reality takes a day.
Sometimes it takes years.
Some seasons require lessons, detours, even heartbreaks.
Some days you’ll doubt everything.
Some days, you’ll self-sabotage just because it’s easier than growing.
And yet sometimes, you’re one decision, one post, one yes away from the breakthrough.
This is where most people quit, because they confuse lack of evidence with failure.
But the truth? The steps you’re taking are preparing you: mentally, physically, and emotionally for what you asked for.
Your nervous system has to be ready to receive good things, just like it braces for bad ones. So prepare:
Write the acceptance speech.
Test drive the car.
Browse flights.
Try on the clothes.
It’s not about pretending; it’s about showing the universe you’re ready.
Delusion is what keeps you going through the gap between intention and evidence.
The difference between delusional people and successful people is nothing; they just believed long enough for reality to catch up.
I’ll never say it’s easy, but looking back at my own life, I realized I’d been practicing delusion all along.
I’ve lived in three cities in three years.
Worked remotely since 2019, because I believed there had to be a way.
Met people I once only saw on screens.
Not all of it was glamorous (some stories are on my YouTube channel), but every leap shaped me.
Faith — complete trust or confidence in someone or something.
Mind: Speak it before you see it. Write it before it happens.
Body: Move like the version of you who already has it.
Spirit: Thank the universe in advance; gratitude is proof you trust the outcome.
Delusion is faith dressed in confidence.
It’s repetition; it’s ignoring the outside noise; it’s doing the best you can right now because most things are fixable, and all of us are figuring it out for the first time.
You owe it to yourself to live the life you actually want.
The good girl grieves.
The villain takes her power back.
And the delusional woman? She builds a life she can feel before she can see it.
Stay delusional. It’s working.
For Readers Who Get It
There’s a difference between being delusional and being deeply self-trusting, and most people never take the time to unpack that.
In the paid tier, I go deeper into belief, self-concept, mindset shifts, creativity, and the discipline it takes to back yourself before the results show up. I also share resources and behind-the-scenes reflections as I build in real time.
