This week has been bonkers, yet again! I’m not used to so much activity! I live a purposefully slow, boring life, and all of the situations I found myself in made me want to crawl in hole and never be perceived again.
Our visitors were wonderful and I might tell you about the rest of the madness in a separate newsletter sometime. Just know, the back half of this week has been insane and I’m ready for the weekend!
Writing gratitudes every morning.
Mini journals. Like 2x3 inch lil babies.
Eating my way around Ann Arbor for a week straight.
Next week will back to normal, but for this week, just take a peek at the archive if you haven’t yet!
Stefouchat- So many cute cats in this shop. Love this print!
Carolyn Suzuki Goods - This anchovy clip was stolen by Target and it would be way cool of you to grab the original instead.
Get Lucky Glass - Their website is coming soon, but I had to show you this fused glass photo!
Byume Co. - Look at this tomato trinket tin!
Pewabic - They were founded in 1903 and operate out of Detroit! What a cool pottery. Also, this mug is beautiful.
Rainbowholic - Their shop is incredible (love this!) and they share fun DIYs like this pouch journal!
I can’t believe that The 100 Day Project will be over in just a few days! How did everyone do this time? I usually bail pretty quickly, so actually finishing is pretty big deal!
After this beading project, I’ll probably do more junk journaling and quilting. Is there anything you’d like to see me try?
Also, don’t forget about Snart if you’re looking for some crafty ideas!
A Prayer for the Crown Shy by Becky Chambers (hardcover) - Do I even need to write more details about these books when they take me a month to finish?
Mate by Ali Hazelwood (audiobook via Libby) - I’ll be done with this one today and let me tell you, there has been way more PNW cult activity than I expected. Werecult! Wild!
It’s been a minute since I shared a book haul (I forgot they were a thing), so here are some new books I grabbed while out with family.
*Book links are affiliates where I get a small portion of the sale and it helps to support The Fox and the Feather, my favorite woman-owned, indie bookshop near me!
The first two photos are from the law campus at the University of Michigan. We tootled around the area for a while and I just think it’s so beautiful.
And, as I was folding up the hide-a-bed, Beans decided to yell at me. They all love when the bed is out and get mad when it’s time to put it away.
This week was full of so many wonderful highs and ridiculous lows and I just can’t even get into it all. Just know that my journal pages have filled up fast this week! I’m so glad that my mom and sister got see how beautiful Ann Arbor is in the spring. It was a lovely trip and now I’m ready to back to house projects, crafty fun and read more!
K, love you, byeeee!
♡ Becky
