In celebration of Kith’s 15th anniversary, the brand has collaborated with BMW on the fourth partnership between the brands. The collaboration taps into the automobile's archival car designs and colour palettes to inspire a new collection of apparel, accessories and bespoke automobiles, including Ronnie Fieg’s spin on two BMWs: the 1972 BMW 3.0 CSi and 1987 BMW M6 E24. Fieg and BMW rebuilt the CSi using original components sourced from the BMW archives and crafted its interior with Kith-monogram embossed leather.
Drawing directly from BMW’s archives, the collaboration brings a duo of BMW cars and a collection of Kith apparel in a palette including the M3 E30’s signature Cinnabar Red, the Kith-developed Vitality Green, the elusive Techno Violet, and now, the enthusiast-heralded Inka Orange.
What makes the partnership so interesting is how much it feels like an unconventional brand collaboration.
