Baz Caitcheon · Baz Caitcheon

Leaving for the UK when she was 19, Meg worked in early childhood before returning to NZ 5 or so years later to herself have kids. With me. Next year we’ll have known each other 40 yrs. She once played the bassoon(yep another musician), and as an alto/tenor, joined the voices of Waiheke choir Sister Shout.

These days she’s got 4 children, 4 grandchildren, and does good work in her community as a counsellor. Meg’s a penultimate advocate for children. It’s her default position, DNA stuff. We adults gotta get with the play.

She got up one morning recently and said ‘alright then, get your phone, I’m happy to be interviewed’. Cheers Meg 🫶🏼.
