Turns out grief and ADHD make for a real thick stew. I have really struggled the last couple of weeks. Feeling the loss of my mom in new and deeper ways as the days go on. She’s a constant thought behind all the other thoughts. The layer cake of my mind weighs heavy on the heart.

I am still doing things. So many things. Life doesn’t stop of course. But boy, it’s been a challenge, just to be real honest with y’all. If you have sent me a text or email and I have not responded, please just hold me in a grace bubble. I’ll get there. And I do not take any of the check in’s for granted. Truly.
Last week I was getting anxious, feeling the itch to get back in the studio to record a new podcast episode (and say hi to 4 track man), Lou then confessed that his ear was really bothering him. It’s been an ongoing issue for awhile but there are times when it’s not quite as disruptive and pronounced. This past week he was really struggling. I knew we had to wait and see how he felt with his ear.
Yesterday the pieces fell into place, Lou and I returned to our spots in the studio. He hit record, we chatted/vented, listened to an old mixtape, Lou sang and 4-track man was back and in fine form. We hope you will have a listen, and as always, thank you.
