Now that the year is over, we can reflect on everything we’ve been able to accomplish as a team. And boy, are we proud. 🤗

When discussing account growth woes with financial institutions, we realized it was time to tackle a crucial question head-on: What’s the real North Star for Member Acquisition Cost (MAC), and how do we accurately calculate it?

Our team of dedicated engineers has scraped publicly available call report data from over 100 credit unions. Paired with insights from our survey (if you haven’t filled it out yet, why not!), we’ve uncovered a concrete number:

• Our product has largely focused on consumers with debt in the past - we have made changes over time to make our program more flexible for those who are looking to save and invest as well. We will be releasing a brand new UI in Q1 to adjust for more flexible goal-setting.
