Join us in some joyful fundraising for Baldwin House! We are making a call to the Baldwin House community about something special and we would love to have you be a part of it.
As many of you know, Baldwin House is an incredible project rooted in real community care. We’re working to pay off our building loan so that tenants can live debt-free—an act of solidarity and collective liberation. This is about building long-term, sustainable housing justice, and we need your help to make it happen!
Here’s where you come in: We’re launching a community-powered fundraiser we’re calling the Baldwin House Bee Hive, and we want you on one of our teams! Think of it like those fun, high-energy fundraisers with different teams—like Dance Marathon or a charity relay—but done in a way that’s deeply communal, creative, and joyful. Together, we’ll tap into our networks, rally support, and have fun while raising the funds Baldwin House needs.
💡 How to get involved: We’re having a kick-off call on March 3, 6:30 pm-7:30 pm for folks to learn more about the project and how they can support us in various ways. This is a short-term sprint through June to meet our fundraising goal (and we’ll celebrate our success at our annual Juneteenth celebration). BH organizers will provide the strategies, tips, and tools throughout. You just bring the people, we’ll bring the plan.
