We invite you to fall deeper in love with your community, with a Valentine’s Day Bakesale hosted by Resource Generation, a Giving Plan Workshop, and an ask to help Baldwin House find a pro bono accountant! 💝Valentine’s Day Bakesale
Baldwin House is thrilled to receive love from members of the DC Chapter of Resource Generation who are organizing a bake sale to benefit Baldwin House. Place orders for boxes of love-themed cookies here!
💖Giving Plan Workshop
Baldwin House is all in for celebrating all types of love — self-love, community love, systems of care that enable us to love even more broadly, and re-investing our care and commitment back into our community. Baldwin House is hosting a virtual Giving Plan workshop on Monday, February 10th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm ET. Join us to make a plan to organize your giving for 2025!
During this Giving Plan workshop, participants will learn strategies to decide how to give money and redistribute wealth in 2025, both to Baldwin House and more broadly! We'll share updates on Baldwin House and also share tools anyone can use to decide how to distribute their donations across efforts you care about. This workshop will be an action-oriented session — come prepared to make your own individual plan for redistributing money and wealth in the coming year.
💗And one more thing: can you help Baldwin House find a pro bono accountant? In Baldwin House, a vast majority of us volunteer our time and efforts to this project which contributes to the affordability of the housing cooperative. We’re looking for an accountant to take over for our current pro bono account and manage our - very light - needs. Do you know an accountant who may want to join this project?
