Antares is the alpha star of constellation Scorpius and is currently projected at 10° tropical Sagittarius.

The draft for this article lengthened and lengthened until I resolved to split it off into different parts (likely three). This first article is dedicated to star-lore and various cultural examples of Antares influence as I’ve seen it, from best to worst case scenarios. The second one will dive deeper into a few example charts.
