There Is Nothing More Beautiful Than Womanhood

The Intentional Woman · AuJene'

This week, I had the privilege of spending an evening surrounded by some of the most incredible women.

There were founders, athletes, artists, mothers, philanthropists, entrepreneurs, and creatives. Women from different backgrounds, different industries, and different seasons of life.

Yet despite all of our differences, the room felt remarkably familiar.

There was something special about the space.

Not because of where we were.

Because of how we were together.

The conversations were effortless.

The laughter was genuine.

Every woman brought something uniquely beautiful into the room, and somehow it all fit together.

For a few hours, no one was rushing to the next meeting.

No one was thinking about deadlines.

No one was worried about what tomorrow held.

We simply allowed ourselves to be present.

We floated in a pool during a sound bath.

We danced.

We laughed.

We talked.

We played.

And somewhere in the middle of all of it, I found myself thinking...

When was the last time I simply played?

As children, we never needed permission to laugh until our stomachs hurt.

We didn’t need a reason to dance.

We didn’t have to earn rest.

Somewhere along the way, adulthood convinced us that productivity mattered more than presence.

That being busy was something to celebrate.

That slowing down needed to be justified.

But womanhood has taught me something different.

There is strength in ambition.

There is beauty in building a career.

There is purpose in chasing your dreams.

But there is also something deeply sacred about making space for joy.

For friendship.

For softness.

For community.

For the version of yourself that exists outside of what you produce.

I looked around that evening and realized every woman in the room carried a different story.

Some were celebrating new beginnings.

Some were quietly carrying things no one else could see.

Some were building businesses.

Some were raising families.

Some were still figuring out what came next.

And yet none of us needed to have the same story to understand one another.

There is something uniquely beautiful about women.

We have this incredible ability to make people feel seen.

To hold space without needing to solve everything or eve say a word.

To encourage without asking for anything in return.

To remind one another of who we are when we’ve forgotten.

I left that evening feeling lighter than when I arrived.

Not because my life had suddenly changed.

But because I had been reminded that life was never meant to be lived alone.

Community is one of God’s greatest gifts.

Not because it makes life easier.

Because it makes life richer.

The older I get, the more I realize that success means very little if you have no one to laugh with.

A full calendar isn’t the same as a full heart.

Achievement isn’t a replacement for connection.

And the most beautiful rooms you’ll ever walk into won’t necessarily be the most luxurious.

They’ll be the ones where you feel safe enough to be fully yourself.

That’s the kind of woman I hope to be.

Someone who creates spaces where people feel welcomed.

Where joy is contagious.

Where conversations have depth.

Where people leave feeling a little lighter than when they arrived.

Because if there’s one thing this week reminded me, it’s this:

There is nothing more beautiful than a woman who makes another woman feel at home.

When was the last time you gave yourself permission to simply be present, joyful, and fully yourself?

If this resonated with you, subscribe and join me each week as we build beautiful lives with intention. I’d love to have you here.

With intention,

AuJené
