Aubrey Thorne · The Eleven

Hi- I’ve created a detailed summary/ transcript of my way-too-long April video. While I’m quite sure that most of you have 100 minutes free to watch/listen to me (cue laugh track), I thought there might be just a few of you who would find it easier to have the “Gone With the Wind-length” forecast in writing… so voilà, below.

Also, I posted the forecast on YouTube, so I thought I’d post the link here in celebration of my Youtube channel launch. 🥳

How to Use This Forecast

I’m going to describe the biggies — not every sextile and every transit going on. Those are important, but they’re not the ball you have to keep your eye on.

At the end, I’ll take two or three of the biggest moments this month and tell you where they’re happening in your life according to your rising sign and your sun sign. I like using the rising sign because it will place these events in your natal chart. Even if you don’t know your natal chart exactly, if you know your rising sign, you’ll be able to peg where these energies are going to act out in your life. If you don’t know your rising sign, that’s fine — you can use your sun sign. It might give you more of a sense of how it will feel to you, which can also play out in events.

The month starts with the Full Moon in Libra at 12 degrees. The theme is relationships, balance, harmony — what Libra needs. Peace, balance, harmony between people. Libra is about relationships: the relationship between you and me, between anything. Every relationship is Libra territory.

We’re entering a very Aries time, which is the opposite side of Libra. Right away we get this picture that something in relationships has come to a completion. Something has maxed out and is finished. I’m taking it to mean that relationships have to change — at least our understanding of relationships has to change. Wherever Libra is in your chart, wherever that part of your life is, that relationship is something that needs to be reexamined and wrapped up, and we need a new understanding.

How is that understanding going to come to us? In a very Aries way. We learn about relationships a lot of the time when we get into conflict in them. Relationships do a fantastic job of holding up the mirror for what we don’t agree with, what needs changing, what’s causing tension or friction in our life. They propose opportunities on a platter for us to deal with something.

This is not just negative. This Full Moon in Libra can also be serving us a new kind of relationship, a new kind of connection, a new kind of rapport with someone or something. The whole point of evolutionary astrology is to become conscious of these opportunities and offers from the divine intelligence that guides everything.

Today we’ve got Venus square Pluto, and the power dynamics are up for rebalancing. Pluto has to do with our power, with the deeper truths of what’s really propelling us on an individual psychological level. Pluto’s going to pull up deep truths that we need to face. It’s going to bring up psychological reality that we need to examine. It’s going to have us going into the basement of ourselves and really confronting some things we’ve tried not to deal with for a while.

Venus is the planet of values — what we hold as meaningful or worthwhile. It’s also the planet that has to do with money, our resources, and beauty. When we have Venus square Pluto, what needs shifting is maybe a power dynamic, or a truth that we are now willing to go look at because we’re leading with our values. It’s kind of the: I’m ready to be honest about this thing. My values have made it completely clear to me that I am ready to be honest about this situation, this relationship.

A square between these two planets says there’s going to be a little bit of tension as we start to reconcile our values with the truth. Part of that process is probably going to be having to look at two things being true at one time — and how are we going to reconcile that.

This month is fast. It’s speedy, it’s fiery. The first week started off fast, but I don’t think it’s been that unpleasant. Everyone I’ve talked to seems to be in agreement: something’s changed. It feels springy. Change is afoot. Which feels really good after the sludgy-ish times we’ve had starting off the year. Some momentum, some activity, some initiation. Some pilot lights have been lit.

That gets us right to the core of this Aries energy. If we go back to the Full Moon in Aries — what relationship needs adjusting? What relationship needs you to rebalance it by involving yourself more in it? Where do you need to bring more energy and show up? That’s what Aries does. It shows up. And when we show up, we change the status quo.

It would be dishonest and negligent for me to overlook the fact that we’ve got a tough month ahead. If you go to any astrologer out there, everyone is saying the sky’s going to fall this month in a lot of different ways. I’m about 50% in that camp. There’s also 50% of this month that’s activating and really good.

Aries asks us to be courageous. The only scenarios that demand courage are ones in which we’re frightened, or we’re shy, or we don’t know if we have what it takes, or we’re afraid to be independent. When courage is on the universe’s platter, we know we’re going to have to step up in some way.

If someone you know might like this, please share with them? Grazie mille.🩵

Mars is in Pisces, Uranus is in Taurus — leaving Taurus, and I’m really happy about that. Mars and Uranus combined at this very sensitive 29th degree is a lot of energy. It’s like: you lit the pilot light in the first week of the month, and then all of a sudden the gas is flowing and the fire is bigger than you anticipated.

On a personal level, this could be something you’ve been trying to push up the mountain that just couldn’t gain traction — and all of a sudden lightning hits it and it takes off. The unexpected victory. The underdog winning. That is a possibility, and we have to look for it.

We also shouldn’t be surprised if, in addition to breakthroughs, there are some impulsive oopsies. Things that hurt. Emotions tripping up. The energy is forceful, powerful, disruptive, and rebellious. People might be extra hot. If you’re feeling extra inflamed about something, be conscious of letting it out. Don’t hold it in, because it’ll become volcanic.

With Mars energy, the call to action is, number one, give it consciousness, and number two, give it appropriate, safe expression as much as you can. Take a walk or go for a run before you have a conversation. And if people are engaging with you with conflict or frustration — the same energy is going on for everybody. So we can have a little compassion.

Mars loves to be in Aries. It feels very free in Aries — it’s its own sign. It’s like the warrior who has been training their whole life and finally gets to go to war. It’s bold, it’s forceful, it’s very primal energy. Mars in Aries doesn’t want to be told what to do. It has to move. It wants to compete, it wants to win.

This energy is somewhere in your life, and your natal chart shows you where. It can be really activating and exciting. We can use this energy wisely and channel it into things that have needed this influx for a long time.

There might be some confusion, some lack of clarity on Monday — but also this rush of inspiration. That’s what I wanna do. We’ve got to muster a lot more faith than we maybe have in ourselves. Or maybe we get a lot more faith in ourselves and our vision, and we can apply our courage and boldness to this vision. It’s like piercing a fantasy to the extent where we can create from a new dream with new faith, super-energized by this Mars presence.

Lots of ideas, mental sparks, breakthroughs that open your mind. Could be some miscommunication too, some exaggerations in communication. Mercury is communication. Uranus is breakthroughs and unexpected events. Whatever has been regularly established as far as how you think and how you communicate — that’s going to completely shift. Let yourself be surprised. Ask yourself if there are perspectives that need updating. The more we’re looking for unexpected insights and allowing fresh ideas in, the more receptive we’ll be to them. You might also land on some form of your particular genius that day.

A note on timing: transits are like dimmer switches. They come and go, but we take them with us after they happen. Sometimes it’s like clockwork. Other times you might have the fresh insights on Monday because Mercury is already getting really close to Uranus. So allow some time.

Bold ideas, courageous ideas, very direct communication. No more beating around the bush. Your thinking will likely be very quick. You could also be very impulsive, so just watch that and have compassion for yourself if that’s the case. If you need to confront someone or be confrontational in a communication, this day has that written all over it. Just bring some consciousness to it, and don’t be surprised if it comes at you too.

If someone you know might like this, would you please share with them? Merci beaucoup. 🩵

Six planets in Aries on a New Moon in Aries: the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Mars, Neptune, and Saturn — all in Aries. This is one of the two biggest days of the month. It’s explosive, it’s powerful, it’s fast.

We do have Saturn there, so there is some structure. It might be fast, fast, fast — and then hitting a brick wall of reality. But this New Moon is ushering in a brand new cycle. All New Moons usher in newness and new beginnings. This one is a big fresh start, a big activation, a big initiation — because there’s so much other planetary energy along with it.

Lots of instinct, lots of courage, lots of energy, boldness, enthusiasm, spontaneity. You could win something. You can get in the game and win something. Wherever you need some assertiveness in the Aries part of your chart — you’re getting it. Just caution about being overly assertive. This is a consciousness game.

We will also see lots of people misusing their power — winning at all costs kind of vibes. So, we’ll see.

Star these days in your calendar. Extra meditation. Extra bathing. A massage. Drive carefully. Express love. Get excited about your life and what is yours to do. And know you don’t have to do it all in 36 hours or right now or all at once.

Some evolutionary questions to ask yourself:

What’s worth defending? What’s yours to defend? Not everything needs an aggressive red line in the sand. We started the month with a Full Moon in Libra — understanding the art of compromise, understanding that we have to have relationships with the world and people in it. We don’t need to go all-out offense or defense at all times.

What’s real? Are you defending an illusion or a fantasy, or are you fiercely advocating for a dream? There’s a difference.

What’s not real anymore? What has flamed out and doesn’t need to be resuscitated? New Moons are rebirth. Some things have to go, and other things need to be supported and fed and encouraged in order to thrive and grow.

What’s the frustration telling you? Where do you need to be more patient and realistic?

Mars plus Saturn brings us into a state of intense focus. Not just focus — intense focus. Where do we have a lot of energy to apply to a specific area of your life? Discipline plus action. Responsibility plus motivation. Where do you need to be fiercely responsible right now? Something is at stake.

In order to point this out to us, something might tear apart. It could be a relationship, a breaking up or tearing away of something that feels difficult and hurts — but it’s for our greater good. It’s going to ask us what patient healing might look like in the aftermath.

Can you act assertively and courageously without becoming a total control freak? Saturn is control. Mars is assertive. In order to win at something, do you have to have total domination and destruction of what you’re up against? Or can you be assertive, responsible, and understand what’s yours to control and what’s not?

It’s an ambitious day. The ambition we’re channeling can come up against a certain reality. Could that be an unbelievable victory? Absolutely. Could it be an extra-charged welcome reality? A hundred percent. Just know that it does come with some pressure and friction and tension — and that’s saying it lightly.

The following week we’ll be dealing with aftershocks — more echoes than impact. Whatever makes it through, whatever survives the volatility and pressures of this month, will last for a long time. Saturn is about longevity, and a lot of new things are being built. Some of this Mars energy is coming to do the last bits of demo before we rebuild. And some of it is coming after demolition has already occurred in your life — helping you rebuild with some energy where you may have felt exhausted.

Mercury conjuncts Mars on the 20th, holding a microphone to whatever conflict is unfolding, whatever inflammation is happening in your life. Please watch your stress levels and the general sense of inflammation you have going on in your body and mind. Things just can’t stay heated, heated, heated — even if it’s positive heat and forward momentum. Cool down on a regular basis.

That week, we also have Venus conjunct Uranus, then Venus moving into Gemini just before Uranus does. Venus might be offering us a picture of what’s possible that’s beautiful post all of this transition and change. I think many people will experience some really positive, welcome, warm, loving, heart-centered connection. Given all this symbolism, I imagine a lot of that connection will be magnetic — because we’ll have been leading with so much courage, boldness, and intensity. That’s lovely.

Praise the Lord. That’s all I have to say about that.

Uranus takes about seven and a half years to move through each sign, so it’s been moving through Taurus for seven and a half years. It’s not been all bad. But it has definitely broken up a lot of the stability each of us has relied on. Taurus is stability — simple understanding, simple structures, finances, the natural world, our natural cycles. Uranus comes and breaks things up. It’s like when the earth gets really dry and Uranus says, we’re going to need an earthquake. And that’s been destabilizing for all of us in areas that evolutionary astrology says have needed breaking up — that we wouldn’t have broken up or shifted or changed if we hadn’t been forced to by unexpected circumstances.

When Uranus moves into Gemini, I think it could be more than a little exciting. We’re going to be bursting with ideas. Very mentally active. Wherever the Gemini part of your chart is — your life — Gemini is ideas and communication and curiosity and an open mind. How we speak, how we listen, how we learn, how we teach, how we relate. It’s very childlike and busy.

If we think technology has been moving at lightning speed lately — wait until Uranus moves into Gemini. It’s radical change. But here’s the evolutionary astrology piece: Uranus is the part of ourselves that needs to be unapologetically, radically ourselves. It’s the part of us constantly attempting to individuate and become our true selves. Throwing off conditioning, throwing off expectations, forgetting about approval, and saying: this is me. When it’s in Gemini, I think we’re going to have a better idea how to do that individually.

Expect the Gemini parts of your life to change. Expect them to change in unexpected ways. Uranus is very future-thinking, and it will bring up issues around individual freedoms and ideas about how to experience that in your daily life. You’re going to get liberated from something — and that sounds pretty good right now. It could come with some unexpectedly challenging circumstances, but sometimes with difficult constraints, that’s when we’re forced to be creative and innovate.

Most astrologers are saying this is going to be a completely new phase in world history. And it will also be a completely new phase in each of our lives, because the world is made up of people. I’ll take it. I’m not afraid of revolutionary ideas in my life. I love the idea of shaking things up, starting things fresh, seeing things differently.

Here is where the Aries energy is activating your life, by rising sign (or sun sign if you don’t know your rising):

This is about your body, your sense of self, your sense of agency and independence. The courage to not be afraid to show up and claim yourself. I am woman, hear me roar kind of energy.

A spiritual awakening. It’s almost like a new, psychedelic awareness of who you are. A spiritual experience. Maybe you need to assertively retreat and be alone to have this experience. Courageously and boldly claim your right for silence. Shut the door. Not be social. It might be hard to say no to people — but Aries energy says no, and then says yes to what it wants to say yes to.

Fresh starts, activations, initiating experiences having to do with setting new goals and making sure you’re surrounded with people who can support you in those goals. New ideas, a new claiming, a new presence in your community or among your friends.

New, bold, fresh, courageous energy in your career, purpose, calling. Great entrepreneurial energy. Great leadership energy. Just be mindful of overstepping — and if you do, there are always apologies and flowers and listening.

How you stretch your understanding of life and the experiences you have. You might decide to take a bold step and study something, apply to a school, learn something courageous, go somewhere boldly. Something that takes a lot of oomph. An impulsive leap. Someone suddenly asks you to hop on a boat and go around the world, or to travel to a far-flung place you’ve never been — and you realize you need to do it. It takes courage, so there’s that.

Intimacy. How we really bond with another person. How we really commit. It takes courage to look into the other person’s eyes and go there. The eighth house is going there. It also has to do with the occult and our deep psychological life. If you’re in therapy or feel like you need to go, you might just dive in and go where you’ve really been resisting going. It’s necessary. It takes courage to look at something you haven’t been able to look at until now.

The eighth house also has to do with how we merge on a business level — contracts, mergers. Aries energy at this scale could be deciding to marry someone, deciding to divorce someone, or fighting for the rights in some kind of merged financial or contractual relationship.

This Aries energy is activating your relationship house — partnerships. The part of your life where you’re married to someone, partnered to someone, where you engage in me versus you or me and you. I would expect some conflict in your relationships of some kind, some inflamed situation. That said — whoever you’re relating to is likely also having an out-of-control inflammatory experience in their mind, maybe in their body. Everyone is heated up at the same time. Have it out. Try not to say things you regret. There’s a lot of breakthrough energy on the other side, because whatever comes up is asking courage from both people.

Or maybe you start a new relationship. You jump in with both feet and decide to merge with somebody. That could be really activating and fun.

Take care of yourselves. You have got to find a way to cool your system down. Practice breathing. Baths. Cooling foods. Massages. Self-care, self-care, self-care. From a medical astrology point of view, that’s a lot of inflammation in the house that seems to rule the body a lot. The inflammation will be telling you something that needs to be tended to. Drink enough water.

The other thing is you might end up initiating a new daily project, or a new health practice. Aries is very physical. It asks us to channel that heat and energy through our body. You might start running, start walking, start going to the gym, start really tending to your diet. Fresh starts on a daily basis. By this time next month, I bet Scorpio Risings and Scorpio Suns will have initiated a new daily practice they’re excited about.

Creativity, children, pleasure, joy. You’re going to love this — just don’t overdo it. The fifth house is heart-centered. It’s childlike, it wants to play. You might start new creative projects, art projects. You might get pregnant. You might rediscover playing with your children or your own childlike nature that you haven’t given yourself time to engage with in a long time. It’s self-expressive. Every single human being is creative — I don’t care if you’re an accountant or a pickleball coach.

Just don’t drink too much. Enjoy, dance around the fire. Then drink your electrolytes and maybe the next day, take it easy.

Home, and your inner psychological foundation. There could be some family drama. Very literally: home renovations, moving homes, very heated interactions with family. Or it could be you really seeing your life in a new way — your psychological foundation has to change and this Aries energy is helping you be more courageous about reframing how you connect with where you came from. Maybe seeing yourself as having a real fresh start as far as the rest of your family lineage goes, as it evolves out of you. Energy at home is going to be very active.

You all will be talking. Communicating and expressing things people have not heard from you before. Aries is giving you the courage, the fierceness, and the boldness to say what needs to be said. You could easily say some things you wish you could take back — but that’s okay. Start the book. Start the podcast. Start the YouTube channel. Write the blog, the manifesto. With your Aquarian nature, it might be a little unexpected or strange to some people. But you have communication activated. This is a new chapter. You’re not holding back anymore.

Your resources, your money, your values. What do you believe in? Do you have enough? What do you need? If you don’t have enough, start something so you do. This is entrepreneurial energy. It’s activating something that makes you money. New ideas about how to gather more resources. It takes courage to say I need more. It’s also a bold, independent decision to prove yourself to yourself that you have what it takes.

This work is only meaningful if it lands with people who it helps. Do you know someone who would value this April deep dive? If you could pass it along, I send you many, many, MANY virtual hugs.

Here is where Uranus moving into Gemini will be activating your life over the next seven-plus years, by rising sign or sun sign:

The planet of breakthrough, innovative ideas in your house of ideas. You’ll have something to say and express that surprises you and surprises other people. Something might come along and blow your mind. Your perceptions need updating — and you’re getting a very big, updated set of them. Then you’ll have something different to say because of that.

What you value, how you prove yourself to yourself. A new idea about how to make money. Unexpected opportunities or possibilities demanding you step up in a completely new way. You might be really surprised perceptually. It comes out of left field and you probably couldn’t plan for it. Your relationship to money, and maybe your set of values, need updating.

Stuff is going to come out of your mouth that you can’t even believe. You’re going to hear things you can’t even believe. Fast, fast, fast. Busy, busy, busy. There’s real genius in Uranus and Gemini together, but for you specifically — you’re going to be learning how to deal with all of this intellectual content and the busy mind. A lot of you will probably learn to deal with what’s called overthinking. And that’s a good thing. When we can identify: oh, that’s thinking, it’s not reality — we’re calmer.

Spiritual connection, retreat, solitude. Just close your eyes and see what pops in. I think you’ll be very surprised. Downloads from source. Things coming out of the blue into your perception. For you, a lot of that has to do with your spiritual connectedness.

Your community, friends, allies, long-term goals. There’s going to be some genius that you unleash in the community. A role that you play as innovator — lending your brilliance to the group in some kind of way. Your goals, your unfolding ambition, the way you serve in the community — you’re going to see it in a new way. The community might elicit this from you. A new kind of idea person, and a real opportunity to step into your self-expression in a new way.

Career, mission, purpose. Your genius is essentially on display. People who you don’t even know might recognize your brilliance. Don’t be shy. Let your freak flag fly in public. This is your individuality being encouraged to come out and express itself. You’re going to have sudden flashes of genius about what you want to do in work as far as your purpose goes. Trust them. Not all of them are going to be brilliant, of course — but something is being unleashed out there to be recognized.

Broader experiences, leaping into a wider vision, really understanding the meaning of your life in a bigger and deeper way. Maybe a lot of you are going to start to teach something, or learn something that’s totally out of left field — that you never expected in a million years you’d be going down this path. You might also take trips that unexpectedly expand some part of your individual genius that is ready to be expressed.

Intimacy, mergers, closeness, the bonded trust we establish with other people. You may have experiences with others that are profound and that activate a new layer of authentic expression in you that you didn’t even realize was there — because nothing had asked for it yet. Something is going to ask you to be unabashedly yourself and truly, radically real. You might decide to go into therapy and admit some things that shock you, and then there’s this freedom and liberation. Wherever Uranus is visiting in your chart, you are being offered the chance to liberate yourself from some kind of stale conditioning or a cloaked self that is determined not to be hidden anymore.

Relationships, partnerships, best friends. Anyone you walk one-on-one with on very equal ground. Unexpected connections with people. Oh my gosh, I can’t believe we think alike. Opportunities to use your intelligence and genius in a one-on-one situation. And maybe some shocks to the relational system that force you to think in new ways that are necessary to think — and the end result will be liberating, even if at first it’s a little shocking.

Capricorn loves stability and tradition, but Gemini moves fast — and in your sixth house, it’s moving fast on a daily basis. If you’ve been craving change and originality, you’re getting it. A chance to show up in your more authentic brilliance and lend your originality to your job, to the way you take care of yourself, or just the way you go about your day. And that’s it — no one can criticize it. Or if they do, you don’t care. There’s a freedom on a day-to-day level that I think is really nice for Capricorn. Might not like it at first. But also might be really exciting.

Creativity, heartfelt self-expression, pleasure, joy, children. You have the planet of individuality, freedom, genius, and originality in the part of your life that has to do with creativity. You’re going to be creating stuff in the world. If you’ve been stuck, holy moly — you’re getting unstuck.

Home. This one is very literal — lots of Pisces Suns and Pisces Risings are changing home circumstances. Moving homes, remodeling. Uranus tends to be fairly literal about half the time. Heeding the call of how you want to live, making your home reflect you and your family. But it’s also about changing your inner psychological structures so that you feel more free to be yourself. That shifts over the next seven years as it moves through your house of inner psychological foundations.

I’ll do this again on May 1st when we have the Full Moon in Scorpio, and I guess we’ll talk about what April wrought.
