Happy World book day!
We have been busy over here, with six grandchildren its quite the event in our family!
This video is of my eldest granddaughter Dusty dressed as the invisible man from the book Miss Pelegrine’s home for peculiar children. It was a hit with the school, she won the best dressed, but it has also been quite a hit over on Instagram with over 120,000 views which is quite something for me, but i must say the highlight was Professor Alice Roberts commenting on the post. Super fan over here! Amazing what a dash to the charity shops can do.
The two youngest boys Reef and River were Crocodiles - a great tabard and tail pattern. Denny quite specifically (!) was a Lowland streaked Tenrac and Nell was a flamingo.
I do think what a wonderful tradition for children - the buzz around it sure does make for magical memories.
