Hello All, we have a lovely recipe for you today. This is a very nostalgic cake for me, I used to make it all the time when I first got married and then just forgot about it so it feels quite wonderful to be baking it again.
This is Mels recipe - Mel works in the Dandelion Designs workshop and has been with us for a longtime, she is very reliable and hardworking and is quite a terrific baker - oh aren’t we lucky!
We have the Redwork Society club which is a monthly members club creating some beautiful projects over the course of a year. Its all a bit hush hush - however we do have a wonderful recipe of the month - made by Mel and us girls here in the workshop get to be the taste testers!
So here it is - Mel’s Over night tea loaf.
