WWDC23

WWDC23 is behind us and I'm eager to dive into my experiences from it. There were tons of new staff but Vision Pro stole the show this year. The development sessions also had a lot of exciting things to say about the future of testing.

Apple pointed out how Previews and Playgrounds can be super helpful for testing code quickly and early, which I strongly agree with. These tools let developers find and fix problems sooner, saving a lot of time and effort, and perfectly aligned with the 'shift left' approach.

The news that excited me the most was the introduction of the new Xcode Test Report. The team at the Human Design Interface really exceeded expectations with their complete redesign. Regardless of whether you primarily work within the iOS environment or not, I strongly encourage you to watch the first video. It could inspire new ways to optimize your automation reports.

Please let me know your ideas about the WWDC23 via Twitter, Linkedin, or email.

Now, onto this week’s episode.
