Palmist Ankur is a leading mundane astrologer based in Norway. He has numerous successful earthquake predictions to his credit, including the Kamchatka M8.8 mega quake, the December 8 Japan M7.6 quake, and the highly damaging Venezuela, Bangladesh, Bohol (Philippines), Afghanistan, Mandalay and Shigatse earthquakes in the recent past, as well as intraplate quakes such as the Western Cuba M6.1 quake. He has also accurately predicted several tech outages, disasters and accidents (Brown University and Bondi Beach mass shootings, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Dhaka and Ōita fires, UPS plane crash in Kentucky, Colombia, Amur Oblast and Bangladesh plane crashes, etc.), political events (Ayatollah Ali Khamenei death, Iran unrest and war, Trump win, several elections, etc.), as well as weather events. All his astrological services can be viewed here, and a well-documented, non-exhaustive track record of his successful predictions is here.
Please read this sticky post to understand better the advantages and shortcomings of my earthquake prediction techniques as of now. Please read this post to access links to some of the modern scientific literature that proposes astrophysics, rather than geophysics, to understand and predict earthquakes.

If you want me to provide earthquake predictions’ probability for a specific location during a specific period in the future (it can even be 5 years from now), it is a paid service. Please see here (limited scope; nominal charges) or here (larger scope, including advice on suitable timings to start the journey, especially useful when one needs to travel even though weather or earthquake prognostics aren’t great; higher charges). You may also order a 6-month or 1-year predictive overview of earthquakes for a particular location.

Other points to remember:
(1) This is a highly accident-prone period, in general. July 12-15 may also see a strong uptick in earthquakes. July 10 evening/night (around 4-8 am UTC of July 11) could see strong earthquakes or major accidents or other major incidents in the world.
(2) For a detailed overview of the complete month of July 2026, about the kind of events that are likely to happen on particular dates, and the specific countries and regions of the world, in general, that need extra attention, see my July 2026 “global horoscope.”
(3) Venezuela, which has still not recovered from the twin M7.0+ quakes from the recent past, is highly likely to see another strong earthquake (M6.0+) in this period. Parts of the USA look highly incident-prone. Mexico is highly likely to see M5.5+ quakes and/or notable malefic incidents.
(4) Because of lack of time, I have looked at very few areas. I have looked at much of Mexico and bordering areas of the USA, and a few parts of western USA. A couple of areas of Canada, and a couple of areas in South America are seen. Rest of the Western Hemisphere, including Brazil, Argentina, Eastern USA, Spain, Portugal and Western Africa, is not seen at all.
And now below is the next set of predictions, for the Western Hemisphere. Predictions for the Eastern Hemisphere (i.e., Part I) were published here, earlier.
Most prediction lines given below are for M5.0+ quakes (magnitude 5.0 and higher). However, there may still be some that remain within the M3.0-M5.0 range.
This post won’t be edited once published. This post is being published on 6 Jul 2026 at UTC 23:00. If any typos are discovered later, they will be left as is. If any more serious errors are discovered or something missing is found later, they would be published in a separate Errata/Addendum post.
Note: Sometimes, earthquake indications on the chart may be rather about other forms of earth disturbances such as volcanic activity, rockfall, avalanche, mudflow, landslide or ground subsidence. They could also be about “non-natural” forms of falls of structures: for example, the collapse of a bridge, an industrial accident in which a big piece of equipment falls down, a plane crash, or a building or mine collapse. Astrologically, they are all one category. So when I say earthquake, the complete category is meant. Please always bear this in mind.
Earthquakes are predicted near the following imaginary lines (within 250 km, but mostly much closer; however, as I am not publishing all the lines, distances may appear larger—see this post). You may extrapolate all lines further at both their ends (especially for accidents and malefic incidents other than quakes). If a high magnitude is predicted for a particular region, then that high magnitude applies to all prediction lines when passing through that region, even if I have not mentioned any magnitude or mentioned a lower magnitude for the other lines. Also, when many lines are close by, it is not necessary that there would be an earthquake for each of those lines; in addition, I may not repeatedly show the same area when several lines are close.
- Straight line running through 10°30′N, 67°02′W (near Caracas, Venezuela). This is a highly malefic line, and earthquake magnitude could cross 6.0. Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.
When extended south, the line will go close by Cochabamba (Bolivia), and this section, too, looks highly malefic, with M5.5+ quakes or major accidents or landslides likely:
I have not looked at other sections of the line.
- Straight line running through 12°00′S, 75°34′W (near Usibamba, Junín, Peru). M5.5+ earthquake likely near this line. Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.
When extended south, the section of the line off Maule Region (Chile) looks malefic:
When extended north, the line passes through the Bahamas, and this section looks accident-prone or vulnerable to violence, strong winds or storms:
- Line between 40°00′N, 97°58′W (near Webber, Kansas, USA) and 33°30′N, 99°39′W (near Munday, Texas, USA). Notable accidents or incidents involving fire, firearms or explosions, troubles for children, the young, or students, troubles for travellers/tourists, pilots/sailors, mediapersons and diplomats, communication troubles, notable incidents of violence, and storms or strong winds also possible near this line.
- Straight line running through 26°00′N, 100°02′W (near Higueras, Nuevo Leon, Mexico). Notable accidents or incidents involving fire, firearms or explosions, troubles for travellers, network outages (power, IT, water, etc.), storms or strong winds, and troubles to authorities or those in high positions also possible near this line.
When extended south, the line can be seen going through Guerrero (Mexico):
- Straight line running through 28°11′N, 102°12′W (near El Sombrero, Coahuila, Mexico). This is a highly malefic line. Major accidents or incidents involving fire, firearms or explosions, troubles for children, the young, or students, troubles for travellers/tourists, pilots/sailors, mediapersons and diplomats, communication troubles, notable incidents of violence, and storms or strong winds also possible near this line.
When extended south, the line will pass through Michoacán (Mexico):
When extended far north, the Saskatchewan-Northwest Territories border area and Kasba Lake-South Slave Region in Canada appear highly malefic, especially for very strong precipitation:
- Line between 40°00′N, 103°42′W (near Woodrow, Colorado, USA) and 34°23′N, 104°52′W (north of Ramon, New Mexico, USA). Take a 300 km range on the east of this line instead of the usual 250 km. Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.
- Line between 40°00′N, 109°17′W (near Bonanza, Utah, USA) and 29°00′N, 111°32′W (near Campo Dulce, Sonora, Mexico). Notable accidents, landslides or collapses of structures, violence, incidents that bring casualties, troubles for labourers/blue collar workers or for the old or poor, troubles for the very wealthy, troubles for politicians, religious people, state ministers and bureaucrats, or strong precipitation also likely near this line.
- Straight line running through 52°00′N, 112°19′W (near Byemoor, Alberta, Canada).
- Line between 47°00′N, 114°28′W (near Alberton, Montana, USA) and 40°00′N, 115°25′W (southeast of Shanty Town, Nevada, USA). Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.
- Line between 37°30′N, 117°00′W (southeast of Goldfield, Nevada, USA) and 30°11′N, 117°39′W (off Ejido Valle Tranquilo, Baja California, Mexico). Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.
- Straight line running through 40°00′N, 123°12′W (near Delmonico Place, California, USA). Notable accidents, incidents of drowning, incidents of shooting, terrorism or violence in general, copious precipitation, and notable instances of deception or fraud also could occur near this line.
- Line between 55°23′N, 129°21′W (southeast of Kitsault, British Columbia, Canada) and 51°17′N, 129°18′W (near Queen Charlotte Sound, Canada). Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line. Heavy precipitation also highly likely in several areas near this line.
Part I, with predictions for the Eastern Hemisphere for the period of 6 to 16 July 2026, were published earlier, here.
Note 1: Owing to lack of time, I am unable to look at many areas of the world. It is possible that on some prediction line(s) that I have not chosen, a strong earthquake may take place, but I can only do my best with the time constraints possible. However, wherever a line is given, an earthquake or some other incident that can or does lead to fall of structures is highly likely to happen near it, unless weak probability is already noted. Of course, as stated earlier, if several lines are very close by, it is not that there would be a notable event corresponding to each line: always use common sense!
Note 2: If a big earthquake has happened in a place, aftershocks may continue for days, weeks and even months. I predict the big (usually the first) earthquake, not always the aftershocks (unless they are also seen prominently on the charts, as does happen sometimes, especially when an aftershock is big).
