Earthquake & Incident Watch: 26 August-5 September 2026 (Part I, limited)

Other points to remember:

(1) This entire period is highly earthquake prone. In particular, 27-29 Aug are highly malefic dates in general, with major accidents/landslides and M6.0+ earthquakes likely; and 2-3 September are also likely to see a strong uptick in earthquake and slip/landslide activity, with major quake(s) or landslides also likely. Death of those in power, prominent leader(s) and/or a royal figure is highly likely in this period.

(2) For a detailed overview of the months of August 2026 and September 2026, about the kind of events that are likely to happen on particular dates, and the specific countries and regions of the world, in general, that need extra attention, see my August 2026 and September 2026 “global horoscopes.”

(3) Throughout this summer at least, I will be looking at only a few areas. This prediction looks at Japan, China, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Afghanistan area. Of course, sometimes some bordering or nearby countries may also find a mention. This time, I have also looked at a couple of areas of Southeast Asia.

A few other prediction lines are also given from rest of the Eastern Hemisphere as well as a prediction line concerning the Western Hemisphere country of Spain (for which, the date range for predictions would be 27 August to 6 September). I am not looking at the Western Hemisphere temporarily; however, if time permits, I would try to publish a few prediction lines from the rest of the Western Hemisphere in a day or so.

(4) Several parts of eastern China as well as the Koreas look extremely malefic during this period. The stretch from Shanghai to Taiwan is likely to see highly malefic incidents. Not only M6.0+ quakes but strong rains/storms and major accidents may also occur. Another area of concern is the Hebei-Shanxi-Henan area, and one should note that capital Beijing also lies in that area. Jiangxi-Guangdong-HK area also looks highly concerning, especially for earthquakes/landslides/fall of structures. For more precision, see prediction lines.

(5) The Pu'er-Xishuangbanna area of Yunnan (China) is highly likely to see moderate earthquakes as well as notable accidents. Western Sichuan looks active after a long time when it comes to earthquakes/landslides. The capital area of India looks highly incident- and accident-prone. Troubles to those in power, too, could occur. Notable quakes/landslides in roughly the Simla-Dehradun-Delhi area, too, are likely. Calabria-Ionian Sea area (Italy) is highly likely to see M5.7+ earthquake or major accident.

And now below is the next set of predictions, with only some areas of the Eastern Hemisphere (and Spain) seen.

Most prediction lines given below are for M5.0+ quakes (magnitude 5.0 and higher). However, there may still be some that remain within the M3.0-M5.0 range. For most lines described as “highly malefic” or similar, one could assume M5.5+ quakes or major accidents.

Note: Sometimes, earthquake indications on the chart may be rather about other forms of earth disturbances such as volcanic activity, rockfall, avalanche, mudflow, landslide or ground subsidence. They could also be about “non-natural” forms of falls of structures: for example, the collapse of a bridge, an industrial accident in which a big piece of equipment falls down, a plane crash, or a building or mine collapse. Astrologically, they are all one category. So when I say earthquake, the complete category is meant. Please always bear this in mind.

Earthquakes are predicted near the following imaginary lines (within 250 km, but mostly much closer; however, as I am not publishing all the lines, distances may appear larger—see this post). You may extrapolate all lines further at both their ends (especially for accidents and malefic incidents other than quakes). If a high magnitude is predicted for a particular region, then that high magnitude applies to all prediction lines when passing through that region, even if I have not mentioned any magnitude or mentioned a lower magnitude for the other lines. Also, when many lines are close by, it is not necessary that there would be an earthquake for each of those lines; in addition, I may not repeatedly show the same area when several lines are close. However, the concentration of many lines in an area could indicate that that area may see strongly malefic incidents.

- Line between 45°00′N, 152°10′E (south off Simushir Island, Kuril Islands) and 40°17′N, 148°09′E (a point in North Pacific east of Honshu Island, Japan). Notable accidents, strong violence, major incidents of fires or explosions or involving firearms, troubles for soldiers or surgeons, and strong precipitation or storms also likely near this line.

When extended south, the same line can be described thus, with M5.7+ quake and/or a major fire/accident highly likely in this section: between 9°48′N, 131°16′E (a point in the Philippine Sea) and 0°30′S, 126°51′E (west off Imbuimbu, West Kasiruta, South Halmahera Regency, North Maluku, Indonesia).

- Straight line running through 41°00′N, 149°02′E (southeast off Nemuro, Hokkaido, Japan). Notable accidents, strong violence, major incidents of fires or explosions or involving firearms, troubles for soldiers or surgeons, and strong precipitation or storms also likely near this line.

When extended far south to 49°00′S, 149°02′E, a point in the Southern Ocean somewhere between Tasmania and Antarctica, the area is likely to see M5.5+ earthquake:

- Straight line running through 10°00′S, 147°15′E (off Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea). Notable accidents, strong violence, major incidents of fires or explosions or involving firearms, troubles for soldiers or surgeons, strong precipitation or storms or other notable malefic incidents also likely near this line.

- Straight line running through 28°00′N, 142°25′E (north of Ogasawara, Tokyo, Japan). This is a highly malefic line: earthquake magnitude near it is likely to cross 5.9. Notable accidents (especially involving aircraft or watercraft), incidents of drowning, incidents of shooting, terrorism or violence in general, troubles for the young, copious rains and notable instances of deception or fraud could also occur near this line.

When extended north, the line passes off the Ibaraki and Chiba prefectures of Japan: the section does not appear to show to me any significant quakes, but mild to moderate quakes could still occur.

When extended south, the Papua New Guinea section of the line looks highly malefic, and quake magnitude could cross 5.6:

- Straight line running through 41°00′N, 138°08′E (west off Tsugaru, Aomori, Japan). Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.

- Straight line running through 34°00′N, 135°32′E (near Tanabe, Wakayama, Japan). Notable accidents (especially involving aircraft or watercraft), incidents of drowning, incidents of shooting, terrorism or violence in general, troubles for the young, copious rains and notable instances of deception or fraud could also occur near this line.

When extended south, the line will pass through the Nabire area of Papua (Indonesia), and this section looks highly malefic and is likely to see M5.5+ quake:

- Line between 43°53′N, 134°20′E (near Berezovka, Primorsky Krai, Russia) and 36°00′N, 128°48′E (near Yeongcheon-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea). Notable transport accidents, troubles for children, the young, or students, troubles for travellers/tourists, pilots/sailors, mediapersons and diplomats, notable accidents affecting industrial workers, incidents involving fire, firearms or explosions, communication troubles/network outages, conflicts, troubles to authorities or those in high positions, and storms or strong winds also possible near this line. This is a highly malefic line, in particular for storms, fires and accidents.

When extended south, the same line can be described thus, with this section also looking highly malefic: between 30°41′N, 125°44′E (off Shanghai, China) and 23°18′N, 122°02′E (off Changbin, Taitung County, Taiwan).

Further south, too, there is a highly malefic section, with M5.7+ quake likely: between 1°06′S, 112°00′E (near Tumbang Bahan, Seruyan Regency, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia) and 8°00′S, 109°17′E (south off Binangoen, Cilacap Regency, Central Java, Indonesia). The Borneo-Java Sea area of the line especially appears malefic:

- Straight line running through 42°30′N, 126°12′E (near Shansonggang Town, Huinan County, Tonghua, Jilin, China). Notable accidents, landslides or collapses of structures, violence, incidents that bring casualties, troubles for labourers/blue collar workers or for the old or poor, troubles for the very wealthy, troubles for politicians, religious people, state ministers and bureaucrats, or very strong precipitation also likely near this line. There could be strong malefic incidents or troubles at the top rungs of power in the Koreas: it should be noted that both Pyongyang and Seoul lie very close to the line.

When extended south, the line passes through the Davao area of the Philippines (not shown).

- Straight line running through 27°30′N, 123°12′E (off Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China). Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line. This is a strongly malefic prediction section:

Another very highly malefic section of the line is the Gulf of Bohai area:

- Straight line running through 28°00′N, 116°24′E (near Hunan Township, Linchuan District, Fuzhou, Jiangxi, China). Notable transport accidents, troubles for children, the young, or students, troubles for travellers/tourists, pilots/sailors, mediapersons and diplomats, notable accidents affecting industrial workers, incidents involving fire, firearms or explosions, communication troubles/network outages, conflicts, troubles to authorities or those in high positions, and storms or strong winds also possible near this line. This is a highly malefic line, in particular the prediction section shown:

- Line between 32°00′N, 115°45′E (near Zhanglaobuxiang, Gushi County, Xinyang, Henan, China) and 26°11′N, 113°02′E (near Leiyang, Hengyang, Hunan, China). Notable accidents, incidents of violence, troubles for the destitute or prostitutes, low temperatures, storms, troubles for waste processing or storage facilities, conflicts to gain power, notable criminal incidents, troubles for criminal networks and troubles for those in positions of power also likely in some sections of this line. The prediction section shown here is very highly malefic:

- Straight line running through 38°53′N, 115°43′E (near Xushui District, Baoding, Hebei, China). This is an extremely malefic line: if not notable earthquakes/landslides/fall of structures, then major accidents or other major malefic incidents are likely. Note the line passes through an area where several mines operate.

Another highly malefic section is the Jiangxi-Guangdong-HK section: I strongly advise the reader to extrapolate this highly malefic line in other parts of the world, if they are travelling to a nearby longitude: for lack of time, I have not looked at other areas.

- Straight line running through 28°00′N, 109°56′E (near Luxi County, Hunan, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan, China). Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.

- Line between 30°00′N, 103°45′E (near Dongpo District, Meishan, Sichuan, China) and 24°48′N, 101°43′E (near Dazhuang Town, Shuangbai County, Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan, China). Notable fires, troubles to religious or government authorities, nobles or those in high positions as well as notable issues presenting legal difficulties also likely near this line. The line is more malefic in its Yunnan section.

- Line between 36°36′N, 101°28′E (near Handongxiang, Huangzhong District, Xining, Qinghai, China) and 33°42′N, 100°13′E (near Ganglongxiang, Gadê County, Golog Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai, China). Notable fires, troubles to religious or government authorities, nobles or those in high positions as well as notable issues presenting legal difficulties also likely near this line.

- Straight line running through 29°00′N, 101°24′E (near Ga’er Town, Jiulong County, Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan, China). Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line. This is a quite strongly malefic line, and earthquake magnitude near it is likely to exceed 5.3 at least.

- Straight line running through 24°00′N, 98°43′E (near Ta Man Nawng, Shan, Myanmar). Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.

- Straight line running through 29°00′N, 94°19′E (southeast of Mibi 密比, Mainling, Nyingchi, Tibet, China). Notable fires, conflicts, aviation incidents, troubles to religious or government authorities, nobles or those in high positions as well as notable issues presenting legal difficulties also likely near this line.

- Line between 42°47′N, 92°22′E (near Danqiaoka 丹乔喀, Yizhou, Hami, Xinjiang, China) and 38°00′N, 90°28′E (near Baozigou 豹子沟, Ruoqiang County, Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, China). Notable accidents, incidents of violence, troubles for the destitute or prostitutes, low temperatures, storms, troubles for waste processing or storage facilities, conflicts to gain power, notable criminal incidents, troubles for criminal networks and troubles for those in positions of power also likely in some sections of this line.

When extended south, the same line can be described thus: between 27°36′N, 87°05′E (near Tamku, Koshi Province, Nepal) and 20°00′N, 85°02′E (near Champapanderi, Odisha, India). The Jamshedpur-Kendujhar-Vizag stretch looks quite malefic in particular:

When extended further south to 9°24′N, 82°28′E, the line can be seen going close by the eastern coastline of Sri Lanka, and this area looks in particular malefic for notable accidents or lightning strikes (not shown).

- Straight line running through 27°00′N, 84°52′E (near Birgunj, Parsa District, Madhesh Province, Nepal). Notable accidents, incidents of violence, troubles for the destitute or prostitutes, low temperatures, storms, troubles for waste processing or storage facilities, conflicts to gain power, notable criminal incidents, troubles for criminal networks and troubles for those in positions of power also likely in some sections of this line.

- Line between 31°48′N, 77°46′E (near Sosan, Himachal Pradesh, India) and 27°36′N, 76°50′E (near Sonagarh, Rajasthan, India). Notable transport accidents, notable accidents affecting industrial workers, troubles for children, the young, or students, troubles for travellers/tourists, pilots/sailors, mediapersons and diplomats, communication troubles, conflicts, troubles for those in power, and storms or strong winds also possible near this line. This is a highly malefic line, and it should be observed that it passes right through Delhi, the capital area of India.

When extended north, the same line can be described thus: between 43°23′N, 80°56′E (northeast of Duge Lunte 都格伦特, Qapqal Xibe Autonomous County, Ili, Xinjiang, China) and 39°00′N, 79°37′E (northwest of Hotan, Xinjiang, China).

- Straight line running through 38°00′N, 75°16′E (near Tahemanxiang, Tashkurgan, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang, China). Notable accidents or incidents involving fire, firearms or explosions, troubles for travellers, troubles for children or the young, network outages (power, IT, water, etc.), storms or strong winds, and troubles to authorities or those in high positions also possible near this line.

- Line between 38°30′N, 73°45′E (near Akbaytal, Gorno-Badakhshan, Tajikistan) and 33°06′N, 72°37′E (near Pirwaal, Punjab, Pakistan). Copious rainfall, troubles to women or the young or to those in art, fashion/modelling or luxury sectors, troubles for the wealthy, notable accidents, or other notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.

When extended south to 24°00′N, 70°59′E, the line can be seen passing through Kutch/Northern Gujarat area of India (not shown).

- Line between 31°00′N, 65°03′E (near Kalawali, Kandahar, Afghanistan) and 25°53′N, 64°25′E (near Siahdad, Balochistan, Pakistan). Notable accidents, landslides or collapses of structures, violence, incidents that bring casualties, troubles for labourers/blue collar workers or for the old or poor, troubles for the very wealthy, troubles for politicians, religious people, state ministers and bureaucrats, or strong precipitation also likely near this line.

- Straight line running through 33°36′N, 64°03′E (near Pelari, Ghor, Afghanistan). Notable accidents, landslides or collapses of structures, violence, incidents that bring casualties, troubles for labourers/blue collar workers or for the old or poor, troubles for the very wealthy, troubles for politicians, religious people, state ministers and bureaucrats, or strong precipitation also likely near this line. This is a highly malefic prediction section of the line:

- Straight line running through 29°00′N, 60°53′E (near Khaziri, Sistan and Baluchestan, Iran). Notable accidents, strong violence, major incidents of fires or explosions or involving firearms, troubles for soldiers or surgeons, or strong precipitation or storms also likely near this line.

A few additional lines, which all look highly malefic:

- Line between 36°23′S, 179°50′W (northeast off North Island, New Zealand) and 45°00′S, 176°04′E (east off South Island, New Zealand). Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.

- Straight line running through 24°00′N, 53°03′E (near Baynounah, Abu Dhabi, UAE). Notable accidents (especially involving aircraft or watercraft), incidents of drowning, incidents of shooting, terrorism or violence in general, troubles for the young, copious rains and notable instances of deception or fraud could also occur near this line.

- Line between 39°00′N, 44°20′E (near Āb-e Garm, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran) and 34°30′N, 44°31′E (near Azim Castle, Saladin Governorate, Iraq). Notable accidents (especially involving aircraft or watercraft), incidents of drowning, incidents of shooting, terrorism or violence in general, troubles for the young, copious rains and notable instances of deception or fraud could also occur near this line.

- Line between 39°47′N, 17°31′E (off Mirto Crosia, Calabria, Italy) and 37°00′N, 18°19′E (a point in the Ionian Sea). Notable transport accidents, troubles for children, the young, or students, troubles for travellers/tourists, pilots/sailors, mediapersons and diplomats, notable accidents affecting industrial workers, incidents involving fire, firearms or explosions, communication troubles/network outages, conflicts, troubles to authorities or those in high positions, and storms or strong winds also possible near this line. This is a highly malefic line: if M5.5+ quakes/landslides/fall of structures do not occur, then major accidents or other major malefic incidents are likely.

- Line between 43°17′N, 3°01′W (near Ugarte, Basque Country, Spain) and 38°00′N, 0°31′W (off Torrevieja, Alicante, Spain). Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.

Note 2: Owing to lack of time, I am unable to look at every single prediction line in detail. I am publishing only those which look more prominent to me. It is possible that on some prediction line(s) that I have not chosen, a strong enough earthquake may take place, but I can only do my best with the time constraints possible. However, wherever a line is given, an earthquake or some other incident that can or does lead to fall of structures is highly likely to happen near it, unless weak probability is already noted.

Note 3: If a big earthquake has happened in a place, aftershocks may continue for days, weeks and even months. I predict the big (usually the first) earthquake, not always the aftershocks (unless they are also seen prominently on the charts, as does happen sometimes).

Note 4: The straight lines are an approximation of curved lines. As you go at extreme latitudes, the prediction lines will become more and more “flat,” given that the Earth’s curvature sharpens towards the Poles.
